    I think it was extreme backspin. So the backspin and the speed of the q ball hit wit force canceled each other out. Never seen anything like this in the last few decades! D:

  • @billsmith8825

    @billsmith8825

    3 жыл бұрын

    It's actually extreme topspin, and I can do it on a pool table. When the ball comes off the rail it wants to go back forward, but he hit it at just the right angle so it basically just stopped. He also could have made it stop like that and then go forward again.

  • @rohangeorge712

    @@billsmith8825 yea it is extreme top spin as the ball is hitting the cushion and then the top spin counters the force of the balls movement making it stop.

    It's not that hard. I do it on a pool table all the time. As long as the ball is almost straight in, but not quite, and you hit it with extreme top English, it will bounce off the rail towards you but the Top Spin will make it freeze, or even go back towards the pocket.

    Right about the moment in ronnie vs selby part there . I remember in semi final ronnie vs selby , selby talk about ronnie disrespecting him . But in this clip i clearly see selby just totally ignore ronnie even when he got a freeball didnt even look at the viewing angle or what . Selby playing in such a way to distract ronnie concentration . All the time .

    Another Ronnie fanboy; seeing only what they want to see. Selby was playing to win the frame - which is exactly what he's there to do. What was he supposed to do - let O'Sullivan have the frame because it'd save your feelings?

    Actually the miss rule was developed to stop an opponent from gaining a n unfair advantage and to discourage tactical snooker escapes , I personally believe that when Selby had free ball that negates gaining the advantage so that is why the foul/miss rule is so ambiguous.

    First one - he could have simply come off the bottom cushion. He'd have to come off the side cushion first, but it's doable. I don't even play snooker and could probably do it in 3 tries.
