Bill Hader was always breaking character during those clips as Stefan because Seth Meyers would add jokes to the teleprompter that he didn't know about beforehand.

sorry I'm not trying to be mean but actually it was John Mulaney who added jokes anyways 🤪
The woman you said was hilarious is Rachel Dratch. Awesome actress and comedian,
You would love skits with Will Ferrell and Cheri O'teri - cheerleading. 👍 Enjoyed your genuine reaction 💕
Debbie Downer was played by the amazing Rachel Dratch!
Some cast members really earned it when they broke once in a while. Rachel Dratch for instance worked her ass off as a core cast member, and that Debbie Downer sketch was way funnier because she was such a professional.
Rachel Dratch is Debby Downer.
Been so busy out of the country glad to be home an catching up with my favorite reators this was good haven't seen snl in a long time
the thing i noticed is chris kattan as funny as he was on SNL he never broke character there is even a blooper of him as mr peepers and danny devito can't hold it together and chris kattan just still in character. he never broke, i don't know how i love that they allow them to break on SNL but i have to be impressed by chris kattan cause this video really shows it's not easy to not break character.
10:58 BEST SNL SKETCHES EVER IN THE HISTORY OF EVER (also Bill Hader reigns supreme as the best SNL cast member of all time so)
Definitely recommend The Carol Burnett show - The elephant story/skit and The Dentist. And for even more old school, recommend Abbott & Costello Who's on First
I'm 66.....and think I've seen every episode ( except for 2 or 3....) going all the way back to 1975. There have been MANY terrible seasons & some really horrible casts along the way. I think the single funniest episode was sometime in the mid-90s.....the first time Jim Carrey hosted. FOUR funny skits that night. 'Hot Tub Lifeguard' was one of them.
