I may not be Chinese, but I am living in China currently and I’ve been here for a while now. China banning Roblox is a big problem for me because I play Roblox everyday with internet issues until I find a good VPN server which is fast, but I rarely find those and if I use it for too long it starts getting slower making the gameplay slower.

I’m Chinese and I used to play Roblox on the monitor at my aunt’s house when I went back to China, but that was before they implemented the censorship rule. Which would mean you would get restricted from any platforms that may teach harmful concepts to youths (like democracy and other political stuff) and instead get a friendlier version of it Now you need to bind your IC with a Tencent account before you log in to any games in collaboration with Tencent. Also means people who doesn’t have a Chinese IC or number can’t play these games, and ALOT of them are actually wonderful games. Underaged Minors can’t play the games for over 2hours as they’ll get forcefully logged out. But in the end, I urge people to not have any prejudice against a certain political stand. Also, it is important to understand the difference between the government and the citizens of China. Although many may not like China for its communist and socialist stand, don’t bring these negative feelings and discrimination to literally every Chinese you see. China also has a lot of great culture and people!
