One of the easiest things anyone can do to brighten up their chucks is literally just replace the laces every 2-3 years.

How do you guys manage to not completely destroy them in 3 months is beyond my understanding seriously. Have 5 pair of different doc martens that didn’t make it past the 4 month mark and not even mentioning all the chucks like I’m genuinely sad at this point what is the secret

Alcohol dries out rubber I'd suggest some kind of a buffer compound

I clean the soles with a magic eraser then throw them in the washing machine but if your not careful they will become smaller

yeah they do. i did that to my converses and they faded a bit

And the insoles? Inside of the shoe?...
