I just ordered one of these - I have a 510 and so I didn’t really bother vetting this one. I’ve been beating myself up over it, but thank god for you, good sir. Keep doing God’s work! 👍🏻

I like to dip the screws in super glue as I put them in place. They don’t vibrate loose at all, but I can still break them loose to work on the quad.

Man, you know what your doing. Snaptain should hire you for repairs!

After watching that drone fly before your repairs, if somebody told me after watching this that it was the same drone and I didn't know that you had done all this I would say they were full of poo. Great job!

I just bought one of these from BesBuy , I am green green to drones. I haven't even powered it up yet and already thinking about taking it back wish I'd seen the reviews before I bought. I am still going to give it a try though. Maybe Snaptain addressed the issue by now. I'll come back after I've given it a spin.

Nice job. Snaptain sent me 3 of these things and they all toilet bowled. I'm gonna do your fix and see if I can't get all 3 to fly right. Will reference and link your video.

Lord have mercy son how do you get your big fingers holding in little screws and do it so easy looking man I took my drone apart and it took me forever to put that thing back together than little screws I kept dropping them but anyways thank you for showing me how to pick this man I'm going to buy me one now I wasn't going to buy one because of this problem but I'm going to go out and buy me one now thank you sir big thumbs-up and I subscribed

Anyone who is trying this fix. I went crazy with the shielding tape and did all the electronics on the bottom half of the drone and double taped the top GPS bits. Tape is £4 from Amazon and comes as a gold role of tape. It seems to have fixed it! A little drift here and there but seems to work. Anyone want photos of how I shielded it send me a message.

I sent you an email regarding the use of the term "barrier tape" , I believe you meant to say what it is actually technically called to where viewers could find some in needed and that would be "Electronics Shielding Tape".

Well, Maybe I have a newer drone. I had to remove 2 screws in the rear to take mine apart. Also, under the landing gear is a screw on each one. So. I had to remove a total of 8 screws. Also my boards were secured and did not have any missing screws.

Have you put a lot of flying time into this drone since you fixed it? I did the same fix you suggested, after opening it the gps and compass boards were secure but the tape was not covering both boards. I put the tape covering both boards and secured everything back together and it doesnt really change the flight. It doesnt start to spiral every time, only every so often but when it does its very noticeable.

We received our Sp7100 a few weeks ago. Had the toiletbowl issue before it slammed into the ground and broke the right rear arm! Sent the drone back almost two weeks ago and still haven’t heard anything back from Snaptain. Would you recommend for me to go over the drone as you did in the video? Very informative and obviously you know what you’re doing! Keep up the great work!

Wow brother that’s sad that they won’t reply to you about the issue they are aware of. But yes I would definitely open it up to see inside. Appreciate the input, the manufacture should have fixed this issue. So in the preceding year, have they fixed these issues? I was thinking about buying this product...

I’m about to buy one preowned on eBay for 70 this will be my 2nd drone. I really hope there’s nothing wrong with the one I buy other than relocating the tape and a screw. I have no soldering equipment and on a budget. my first drone was a snaptain S5C and I lost it 😂 I flew it with out using the phone and the wind took it lol thank you so much for your video by the way

Great video I have a holystone hs 110 g doing the same thing, any fix advise for it.

Just bought the SNAPTAIN 7100. Haven’t flown it yet but it hope I dont get this issue. But thanks for the vid on the fix. I believe I can do it my self but if things go sideways is there a way to reach out to you? I started this hobby back when custom builds were the only way you could fly. I still have the frame of my first drone and the lumenier control board with 12A SimonK ESC’s. Lastly is there a way to get around the proprietary charging, for fast charge?? Hit me up.

Hi Have same problem with Holy Stone 720e Really bad TBE in GPS mode.If switch is turned to the off postion drone will level itself out,but still shows all the satlites on the transmitter.Holy Stone sent me replacment ,and guess what? does the same thing.This is my fourth 720e My first drone flew perfect with no problems until it died in mid air and crashed. Since then l have had 3 replacments and all 3 have had the same issue. JC Ontario Canada

I just bought one the battery won't charge up contacted the seller and they're sending me a new battery I went ahead and took the Drone apart to check what you showed us how to check and they were screws missing out of out of the front little box and that tape wasn't covering all the component and they didn't give me enough tape to stretch it so I could cover it all up I don't know what I'm going to do I don't have that kind of tape I don't know where to buy it

Hello. please help me a lot. I have a Snaptain SP7100 drone that suddenly stopped both propellers on the right during the flight and it only works, and the drone smells burned. The propellers on the left side work perfectly, as does the camcorder, gps. Only the propellers on the right side no longer want to work. Is there any chance I can do it?

My tool set’s screwdriver isnt long enough to reach the screws in the antenna bay. Mind sharing what tools you used to get it open?

What's your location? I have the same drone and the remote doesn't pair with it, what do you think is the issue?

Please help I have a snaptain sp7100 that will connect with my phone via Wi-Fi but it acts like it isn’t connected with the remote I already sent 1 to snaptain for the same reason and their customer service is no help do you have any ideas what it could be? Edit it keeps telling me on the phone to set it on a flat surface (which I have) but never changes.

I heard you call it a toy grade drone on my package it told me that it was a professional drone

Did you fix the pinched wires up front? Easy to notch out that rib and make some space for the wires.

I was Soldering a Resistor that had popped loose I noticed not all have them tho

Where can I buy replacement motors? Anyone?
