Great effort and thanks for sharing the video! You did all the right things with getting some scouting in early, just didn't get the luck on your week. Good call playing it safe with the weather, it can get pretty ugly out there.

Very good video Its a place to test you I was similar to you waited over 20 years to get a gig Lucky enough to get in on P2 last year Harvested a nice stag at 12.40pm opening day Hopefully we both get another chance 🤞

Mate at lest you stuck it out the full week and didn't give up hope. It's not uncommon to get redrawn. I was in p1 blond bay and struggled too. I struck it out, so my conscience can rest easy haha.

Great video, thanks for sharing. I hunted period 5 this year and was thankfully lucky enough to tag a stag. Similar to your Period, 6 out of the 8 tagged out with stags with one of the hunters tagging out both. For our Period, Cow Swamp saw the most active. I hunted Rifle Range for the first 2 days and saw zero activity then day 3 changed to Big Hole, which paid off. Best of luck to getting drawn again.

@0 years in Hog Deer Ballet and Finally got in , um I entered It In 1992 and Got in 1st time, But It Clashed with my son Birth so I sent The Tag's back, Cant be help.

Dedicated patients that deserved a result but I know these deer well and even seeing on in the day is an achiement. Fingers crossed for you next year and beyond

Thank you mate. I have no idea how they found every camera. I was very surprised and disappointed when I went back to retrieve them and then realised that all of them were gone.

@WilliamHoskin they must have away of detecting them. I was there last year same period with a mate,had terrible weather, hunted big hole without seeing a deer. My mate who was hunting missed a shot at a ripper on the coastal dunes down track from big hole. That's hunting.

They were all tripping over themselves for the swamp and hole. I had the whole west island to myself and bagged hind iin 4 hours. Its hard work in 32 degree heat.
