Snail Trail - Snails of New York
Ойын-сауық
You never know what you are going to see in NY is a common saying. Here is another one of those stories, silly as it may be.
No snail was harmed in the making of this video.
The Speedy was returned to a garden where he can live out his very long life.
A garden snail can live up to 3 years. Run free little Speedy.

No. Not me, ever.
per the web there are over 100 species of land snails in New York. the giant snail variety should not be touched with bare hands. try using the app on your cell phone to find out what variety you have there Set it Free. put him back in the garden and let nature take it's course . God bless and Happy Mother's Day Terie

Yes, Denise, I am sure he is a common garden snail. He is back outside in the garden. If he comes back that would be wild, no??? Thanks so much and have a blessed day as well.

We used to find snails when I was a kid living in Florida, they were a common pet for us. 😂 I have never seen one where I live now but I am sure they are around. This video made me giggle, you are a gem!

@@SewingMachineRehab Thank you. I get so silly when I find "PETS." When I was a kid I brought everything home that had signs of life, including bugs. I guess I am still that kid. It is the little things. Thanks for watching. Oh, I just watched your Blue 301 video last night. How did I miss that one? Gorgeous.
So cute 😊

Good one.
Lattice is a good thing for the snail, but it needs a bit of sawdust. If you have veggies in your garden, that is what it eats. Let it free under a bushes and it will be OK. Call him Slowpoke.

I love that name. SlowPoke. I did set him free. If he crawls back up the 20 foot brick wall, then he can be mine. Thanks for watching my silliness.
Well if it came on its only then will its been out there for a while as they move at a speed of like 1 mile per week, lol

@@joannajennings473 It is just strange to see them. I may be the only one who hasn't. But this one was on my window sill 20 feet high. No where near the garden that is around front. I set him free. Thanks for watching.

Yup. Yuck. The funny thing is, the window on that side of the house is 20 feet up a brick wall. Made no sense as to how it got there. anyway, he is back outdoors.
