The Beavers are now showing more at dusk and dawn as the daylight hours get longer.
One or two of the beavers have started taking a snack off this tree before finally going back into the lodge for the day. Fascinating to watch them stripping the bark. First eating the outer bark which is really dead material then the inner bark which carries nutrients up the tree.
They are probably not felling this very large tree, just using it to eat.
