In March this year, 2 pairs of Beavers were introduced into our new 100 acre enclosure on another stream.
I've been monitoring them only using trail cameras to minimise disturbance whilst they settle in. They have already constructed 4 dams across the stream, creating deep water areas and holding the water up.
This compilation of clips shows them working on the dams and a visitor at the end making use of their work.
Now the longer summer daylight hours have dramatically reduced, they will not be visible at dusk or dawn.
Recently they have started felling some reasonably large trees and over winter it will be interesting to see their habitat progress.
