The terminal is built so well but the platforms seem a bit basic compared to the terminal. Looks like they don't have lifts/ escalators in the platforms. Its not easy for people who find it hard to walk/ climb much to get to-and-from trains. I hope they do so in the future. This will make the platform a lot more accessible. But overall, great design. Super proud to be from Bengaluru. Best city in the world.

No, this is not situated at the airport. The reason why I have highlighted that point is because there’s no such railway station as of now in India. If you know any, let me know. Also, it resembles the look and architecture of Kempegowda International Airport, hence Airport like facilities cause you don’t get escalators, modern architecture and the first time feel. You can check the video of Airport and you will get to know the reason. I hope that explains quite well.

Currently, only 13 pairs of trains ply here, and most of them are not daily. So, daily, only 5 to 6 trains ply. Hope more trains start running in future.

Yes, police is available there and I think they check luggage. But I think liquor can be carried in train. Just confirm on Quora once.

Hey, Budd! You can take bus to majestic and then from there you will get bus to SMVT or Baiyappanahalli. Or you can take metro from Majestic as Kempegowda is in a different city than Bangalore. Reaching Majestic will take time. I hope this helps
