From 1 July 2024, you can expect SMSes from government agencies to come from a single gov.sg SMS Sender ID, instead of individual government agencies' Sender IDs.
For example, SMSes from CPF, LTA, and IRAS will now all come from the gov.sg Sender ID.
With a single gov.sg SMS Sender ID, it'll be easier for you to identify authentic government communications sent by SMSes, and safeguard yourselves against government official impersonation scams.
