Ram Sita ko alag karke na Praza khush thi,na Ram ji, na Sita khud thi, nahi unke putr. Issliyee her Stri ka saammaan karein..aur yah bhi dekhein kisi bhi nirdosh stri ka aapmaan na ho...tabhi Shri Ram aur Maa Sita ka ashirvaad milega.🙏 Jay Sita Ram🙏 I like Ramayan, and I worship Lord Ram, Sita and Lakshman, And the most Hanuman ji, Jahan Hanuman ji ke darshan se we get the blessings of many Good together. I like Hanuman ji character the most , as do (2) bichre premi ko unhone mila diya...phir society Jo kabhi bhi 2 lovers ko saath nahi dekh sakti....society ne alag Kar diye...pahele toh Ramji virodh kiya..but praja people of Ayodhya was not satisfied..he separated himself from Sita just in order to make people broad minded what did you get from separating us...as people society were not satisfied if they lived together so in order to teach them that something is wrong going in the society he has to send Sita Far away... And representing the whole world that womens being punished for no reason.. should never be promoted as everyone in Ayodhya was unsatisfied Even when they were separated...The difference between male and female has been seen in a historic religious books too. Where Lord Sita was kidnapped by Ravan and after that the male partiarchy society did not let even God to live a peaceful life she was put in fire to prove purity, and after that she was sent to forest to live alone , can you ever imagine the mental and physical pain Lord Sita suffered in bringing the two child in forest without anyone's help nobody pitied on her, If Lord Sita suffered so much due to the toxic masculinity she maintained her dignity by not coming back to palace even if Ram pleaded to come back , she was sent to forest and gave birth to love and Kush in forest and no one in the society helped her to overcome this situation the suffering faced by her, let her never forgive the society and maintain her dignity by not returning even when Ram pleaded to come back to Palace again. This act was done by Lords just to show that by separating both of them nobody lived happily. Neither the people of Ayodhya Nor Ram, neither Sita nor Love and Kush their son who had always questions in their mind. But as many Sita's of the society Were punished threatened insulted for no reason but because of the thinking of the male partiarchy society, the question is why Lord Sita should not be punished? If many womens are facing the same problems? Because she was Maharani.? So this act was played in order to make aware of the people to be broad minded as nobody was satisfied, everyone was unhappy , sad, when she was separated from Ram as both of them lived unhappily after returning back to Ayodhya. Because this happened with Lord Sita long back ago it is still remembered that the situation was same thousands of years back also and today also... People don't want to overcome the mental problems they are going through. And this is repeated again and again till now ,do something to break this ill thought. Kiya ho Raha.. uska true face.. dekhayee Shri Ram ne... Ravan ka yudh mein harne tak, Ramayan ki Katha. Phir.. Ravan yudh ke baad Samaj see yudh...Dhongi Samajh ka true face..dekhane ke liye.. @@sohinipriya4204 exactly..ramayan was actually the story between two love birds...one of which was tied to his rules and expectations of society(maryada) and the other was free to take her decisions(maa sita)..this story is used to describe how society will interfere between two loved ones time and time again to separate them...and actually its still happening in modern day

​In Response to @@sohinipriya4204 Sita maata was cursed by a female parrot when sita mata parted male and female parrot before her marriage when she was the princess of Mithila (Her Kingdom) . Parrot cursed that just like you parted her and her husband, same way you will have to face a lot of trouble after your marriage and you will be parted from your husband. We are again and again taught in all means be it ramayan or bhagawat gita , that anyone be it whoever it is, are bound to the law of Karma 3 modes of Karma: Sanchitta (your past Karma that are waiting to come into fruition) Prarabdha (Prarabdha is that portion of the past karma that is responsible for the present) and Agaami Karma(Agami Karma is the Karma we are creating for ourselves by making choices right here in the current moment) 3 Types of Karma: Vikarma : Actions taken against the principles of Dharma Karma (the action of Dharma, with a feeling that "I" am doing it) Akarma (The Action of Dharma, with a feeling that Krishna which resides within us is doing the things through us, and we are just a medium through which Krishna is operating) "Sanchitta" will keep on going to give you the fruits of past actions , If you are searching for liberation, dont create a new "Karma" in that situation if you give more time to each fruit it might take more lives to spend all the fruits that you need to Suffer be it good or bad accept it with "AKARMA" so that you dont create new Karma to which again you need to have fruit of. If you live by AKARMA, you accept and complete all the fruits of past lives without creating new Karma to have fruits to suffer from. This AKARMA is also explained in Bhagawat Gita and the practices by which it can be fulfilled. One of them is "Bhakti Yog" it is a Yog, meaning Connection, with Supreme Creator of Anything the you can call Existance, by the path of BHAKTI Things are really easy to understand, people with scientific dimensions make Dharma complicated for themselves and for all those who share it with.

I love the Devi-Bhagavata Purana. I constantly remember lines from it during my day. I wasn't born a Hindu, but to me it's my sacred text. We had a similar religion in Ireland (though not nearly so well developed as in India ) before Christianity took over. This series is fantastic.

Sure but the religion in ireland is not well establoshed which is the reason for its downfall. The message is lacking from the stories of your religion which was morally ambiguous.

Rather than shaming us for 'showing disrespect' by asking critical questions, Mr. Lakhani encourages us to use our critical thinking to evaluate religious teachings. What a gift it is to be given permission to test within our own hearts and minds the 'received wisdom' of scriptures, rather than having these books imposed upon us as an 'authority' which cannot be questioned because it is 'God-given'. To be taught religious texts as 'The Truth' can keep us in a child-like state of not being able to trust ourselves, and having to submit to someone else's 'superior' knowledge, which keeps us, as Mr. Lakhani states, from maturing fully.

Beautifully explained, I have not found single Sanathana guru presenting the details in such a simple but effective manner. Thank You

Weakness of Upanishads, etc., is that it is abstract and dry to most people (not everyone). Weakness of smriti is that people get attached to the stories, and never absorb the teachings that lie within.

It is a product o times when very very very limited people had the luxury (or courage/Will) to devote their life to knowledge. So, they had to rely on these means to just pass the knowledge.

This is just amazing. I am 21 years old and all I have been fed in my family, schools, society is this narrative. Modern-day Hindus are stuck at the Smrutis. Hardly anyone talks about Shrutis. Thank you Sir for this wonderful approach.

I just heard the very sad news from Farhan Qureshi that Lakhani Ji has transitioned, on his 73rd birthday. What a coincidence, he dedicates his last post to his departed mother. May both together enjoy the everlasting peace. Om Shanti, Shanti, Shanti.

That is where Varnas came, ppl who can spend life for exploration one type, ppl who save dharma one type, ppl who do business one type..for many kind of things many types created. Based on type and their daily work, they can follow learn things, stories, pujas, bhajanas, music, puranas, itihas, vedas... sadly slowly all these varnas converted to cast and moved into different direction. I think this generation must understand this much and avoid differences. We must preserve cast and differences but should not create distances. As u said this is very nice talk.

Rational thinking is the basis of Hinduism

Don't undermine the value of story telling. Greatest line ever. I think story telling only has hold this religion for thousands of years.

Ramayana and Mahabharata happened in the history. Whereas,i also agree that few parts are interpolated. Thanks Mr. Lakhani.. We should ways use our rationality.

In order to fully understand a concept, it must be broken down to its most minute part and that is the proper and most scientific way of learning and understanding. This lecture is providing such breakdown in an easier format for listeners and observers to comprehend and understand the ideologies and the make up of the "Santana Dharma" now know as Hinduism. I fail to see why anyone would have any objection to such. After all Santana Dharma is the only "religion" (in the most loosest term), that allows and encourage critical thinking and debate among its various creeds, casts, sect etc. But that is my opinion, you are welcome to yours.

Watching Ramayan in lockdown, very nice...In one act many lessons , to put question on society... this act was done by God to question the society? That, how society can also be wrong . Yah To Sab jante Hain Ki MAA Sita nirdosh hain, aur unke sath Jo hua vah galat hua, per kis tarike se yah Samaj ek nirdosh Stri ke saath vyavahar karti hai iis chij ko ujagar karne ke liye yeah drishya dikhaya gaya hain... Bhagwan, Stri ke sath ho rahe anyay ko dekhne ke liye hi Maa Sita aur Shri Ram ka janm hua... Stri kitni bhi nirdosh kyon Na Ho Samaj use torture karta hain, Samaj bhi kaise galat ho sakta hai iis madhyam se hamein yah darshani ki koshish ki gai hai.... Maa Lakshmi Maa Sita, Shri Vishnu Shri Ram ji ka ashirvaad unhe he prapt hoga ..Jahan... Stri ka saaman karna chahiyee, .... Yadi aap ke kahane ka matlab yah hai Ki RAM ji ne Sita ji ko tyaga... To Ham yah bhi kah sakte hain ki Jab Ram ji , luv Kush aur Sita ko wapaas lene jatein hain, aur Mahal wapas chalne ka anurodh kartein Hain toh Maa Sita ne Ram ji, aur apne putr ko tyaga.... Agar aise hi hoga..toh bewajah divorce bhar jayegaa..aur banche annath ho jayengee... 🤔 Dear society don't judge any mother for being a single mother because Lord Sita also behaved like a single mother for Luv and Kush in forest, so stop judging. Being single mother is no wrong. ...Ram ji toh Sita ke Bina Adhure the... Sita ji ke rom, rom , mein Ram Banse the, phir woh unka kaise tyag Kar sakte , Sita ji ne Ram ko kabhi nahi tyaga...yeah toh bass ek bhagwaan ki Lila thi. Per longo ne iska arth hamesha alag alag hi nikala, Kuch toh log kahengee longo ka kaam Hain kahane...agar longo..ke baataon mein akr apne... Vishvash, prem per sandeh karogee..toh bahut bura hoga....log kahete..Hain Ghar ko Ghar banane mein stri ka haath hota, agr Stri ki soanch achi..toh Ghar kabhi nai toota, per Ramayan see hame bahut Bari seekh miltee Hain, ki Ghar mein khushahali bane rahne..mein purush ka bhi haat hota Hain, woh kitni bhi achee ho, agar purush dusre ke baaton per chalega..aur apne stri ke saath anyaee karega..toh use parivarik Sukh prapt nahi hota, luv aur kush , ke hridaye aur dimag mein ho rahe questions ko Koi nai samjha pata. Ram Sita ko alag karke na Praza khush thi,na Ram ji, na Sita khud thi, nahi unke putr. Issliyee her Stri ka saammaan karein..aur yah bhi dekhein kisi bhi nirdosh stri ka aapmaan na ho...tabhi Shri Ram aur Maa Sita ka ashirvaad milega.🙏 Jay Sita Ram🙏 I like Ramayan, and I worship Lord Ram, Sita and Lakshman, And the most Hanuman ji, Jahan Hanuman ji ke darshan se we get the blessings of many Good together. I like Hanuman ji character the most , as do (2) bichre premi ko unhone mila diya...phir society Jo kabhi bhi 2 lovers ko saath nahi dekh sakti....society ne alag Kar diye...pahele toh Ramji virodh kiya..but praja people of Ayodhya was not satisfied..he separated himself from Sita just in order to make people broad minded what did you get from separating us...as people society were not satisfied if they lived together so in order to teach them that something is wrong going in the society he has to send Sita Far away... And representing the whole world that womens being punished for no reason.. should never be promoted as everyone in Ayodhya was unsatisfied Even when they were separated...The difference between male and female has been seen in a historic religious books too. Where Lord Sita was kidnapped by Ravan and after that the male partiarchy society did not let even God to live a peaceful life she was put in fire to prove purity, and after that she was sent to forest to live alone , can you ever imagine the mental and physical pain Lord Sita suffered in bringing the two child in forest without anyone's help nobody pitied on her, If Lord Sita suffered so much due to the toxic masculinity she maintained her dignity by not coming back to palace even if Ram pleaded to come back , she was sent to forest and gave birth to love and Kush in forest and no one in the society helped her to overcome this situation the suffering faced by her, let her never forgive the society and maintain her dignity by not returning even when Ram pleaded to come back to Palace again. This act was done by Lords just to show that by separating both of them nobody lived happily. Neither the people of Ayodhya Nor Ram, neither Sita nor Love and Kush their son who had always questions in their mind. But as many Sita's of the society Were punished threatened insulted for no reason but because of the thinking of the male partiarchy society, the question is why Lord Sita should not be punished? If many womens are facing the same problems? Because she was Maharani.? So this act was played in order to make aware of the people to be broad minded as nobody was satisfied, everyone was unhappy , sad, when she was separated from Ram as both of them lived unhappily after returning back to Ayodhya. Because this happened with Lord Sita long back ago it is still remembered that the situation was same thousands of years back also and today also... People don't want to overcome the mental problems they are going through. And this is repeated again and again till now ,do something to break this ill thought. Tabhi Maa Sita aur Shree Ram ka ashirvaad milega... Jay Sita Ram Respect women, Ramayan se humme Sikh milti Hain, Jahan women ka respect wahan Maa Sita ka ashirvaad milega... Jab Maa Sita khus hongii..toh Shri Ram ka bhi Ashirvaad milega... Maa Lakshmi aur Bhagwan Vishnu ka bhi aashirwad prapt hoga, Jay Hanuman ji ka bhi aashirwad milega, Mahadev , Maa Parvati, Maa Durga, Maa Kali , Maa Saraswati sab ka aashirwad milega , inshort sabhi Devi devtaon ka aashirwad milega,... Kyunki tab Sabhi Devi - Devta khush honge... Iss liye humme ek dusre ka adar karna chahiyee... Jay Sita Ram..🙏🇮🇳🕉️🙏 - Sohini Priya 🙏 🇮🇳.
