The first time I did this one of the plastic clips popped out, then all the clips broke. So I ended up having to use the mini clips.. Haha I'm useless with modifications! But it makes your car look so much nicer!!! Now just buy the red strip for the front :)

looks nice i like the fact its raised giving it more of a presence just wish it was functional

How do I remove the spikey plastic part that has stuck in the holes of the bonnet?

could we paint the bonnet with plastidip instead ?

(Replying to an old comment) but I had the same issue.. when I was fitting the new scoop one of the plastic fittings broke as well but I suppose as long as the other 5 are fitted and the torx bolt are screwed in it’s fine I also almost dropped the torx bolt into the engine bay 🤣

SMPS2012 are extortionate, I picked one of these up for £44.60 from eBay.

Used yes, but it’s highly unlikely you got a new one for that price. You can’t even get them from the suppliers for that cheap 😂

it doesn't even let any air in so whats the point?

It’s for aesthetics, note that all MINIs except the R53 don’t allow air though 😁
