Yeah smothering sucks, but showing a lack of interest for me is what kills my interest

The reason why smothers forces people to leave is because people are very intuitive. Even though a person does care and want you, they are also saying I'm being selfish because the big reason I want you is to make sure I feel better. Your career as my person is to make me healed. I am going to throw away any personality I have to have you glue to me so I can always feel like I am cared for. It feels like a person climbing on top of your life vest and pushing you down in the water because they know you are better off than where they are. (By the way we all do it in some way.)

Haha, wonder how people can move on so quickly? My ex and I were friends for 4 years prior to our 7 month relationship. A week after dumping me she was already with someone else she had gotten to know through a game she plays, and completely threw me and my feelings to the wolves. Their relationship have lasted longer than ours did at this point. What baffles me most is that after all this time and all memories and me having such a good connection with her and her kids for all these years, and she just threw all that away like nothing of it mattered. Makes me wonder how much of this was genuine.

Sometimes the person doesn't care anymore and the person feels it. Now THAT is an attraction killer.

Is it too late if the “begging” and “I’ll change” text came during and a couple days right after our drunken fight, but before she broke it off officially? She decided it was over and asked for space and I did a complete 180 and told her I respect her decision, haven’t spoken to her, and muted all social media. She did the same. Because we had a big fight in the end... which was caused by my depression.......but he is still sad even though he was the one who broke up with me...we had a great relationship...we were really happy.....but during that time I was facing several failures so I showed all anger on him and he broke up .....
