Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster 2021 | Pigeon Forge, Tennessee
This was my first time riding the Smokey Mountain Alpine Coaster, also called a mountain coaster. It was actually really run. I would recommend trying this type of roller coaster out. There are a lot of these mountain coaster in Pigeon Forge. Some of them have ride bundles were you pay one fee and ride a couple of times. This location didn't have that option but they do allow you to ride a second time at a reduced rate. Check out their website below for more cost information. I would also recommend locking up your belongings in the car before trying to board. They will not allow you to ride with any bags or even keys in your hand. You can film with a gopro as long as you have a head mount or a chest strap.

I was there three days ago. And I rode it at night omg so beautiful!
I rode this coaster after a heavy snowfall. It was breathtakingly BEAUTIFUL!❄️
The thorough training at the beginning makes you feel safe.

Yeah, Captain Safety described REAL NICE LIKE how you oughtn't stop on the track! Only slow down iffen ya git too close to the person in front of ya...
Really great video quality, but I had to turn the sound off as that music about drove me nuts. It would've been fine without it. Looks like a fun coaster.
I’d be screaming GO GO GO to the slowpokes in front!

We rode 2 different ones there..they were a blast..I'd be broke living round there
Rode that about 3 years ago just after it opened.
I rode back in 2021 Some time in January, And Loved it!
It reminds of the one that was in Opryland
I miss Gatlinburg 😫 where I live we have slide like this type of ride was scary but I did it🤪

I lived in Pigeon Forge for five years. I never rode this, though.
I haven't been there in years - did not even know this was there. Would love to see your video of what it looks like at night. I live in Toronto so I don't anticipate getting there anytime soon 😔

You are buckled into the seat with shoulder straps, kind of like the ones on go karts that go really fast. I felt safe in that I wasn't going to fly off the seat. But I did get a flash of panic at the top. I wasn't expecting it to be as fast as it was without a helmet haha. This was my first time riding one of these. You can slow it down if you need to. They don't recommend stopping because someone could slam into you. Totally plan on riding more like these.

@@BizzyTraveling I couldn’t go last summer because covid gave me a heart condition but everything has healed up now. If it’s just mild it won’t do that but I had moderate covid and double covid pneumonia last year I been healed from that a year and got healed of the heart condition sometime in July
Is that as fast as it goes, not my taste to slow
