Thanks for watching!
You guys make this look so easy. My RecTeq 1250 will be working on my 2nd brisket. Thanks for a great video.
We did this for our Labor Day gathering today. One word. Amazing.
Always enjoy your videos. I picked up a Prime Brisket at Sam’s over Labor Day. Watched this video so I can do it like you did. I’ll throw it on my 590 tomorrow. Can’t wait.
Soon to get...excited to cook!
Colorado, and my new smoker is the RT700 and is to be delivered on the 25th of the month. Can't wait :)
Butter spritz is great. I keep a bottle of mixed red wine vinegar and distilled water to spritz as well.

Southern California - my 700 shipped yesterday. Can't wait to get started!
Looks like you guys are having fun and enjoy working together on set. I've watched a couple of these vids and the advice you're giving is more general principles vs specific advice about how to really nail specific meats on your line of smokers. I think that's a huge missed opportunity. While some viewers may be brand new to smoking meats, a lot of us have prior experience w offset smokers, bullet smokers, kettle style, homemade drums and so on. What sets your kit apart from other pellet smokers? How should I approach smoking brisket (specifically!) on an RT-700 versus an offset smoker vs a Weber kettle or Big Green Egg? I came bc I was interested in how these bad boys can flex and wished you'd spend more time talking about cook time, how to get an adequate smoke profile on this cut of meat vs other styles of smokers, when should you wrap vs not wrap brisket etc etc. Dig deeper into your product for us, thanks
I'm having issues with the stall at 149 Degrees. Should I keep the temp at 225 or increase it to get out of the stall?
Well done! Keep teaching --- watch'n from Marietta, Georgia!

Have you tried Old Hillside bourbon?
Thanks for the cook. When is RecTeq coming to the UK?
What size brisket will fit on an RT-340?
What size are those cutting boards?
How do you make the Au Jus?
I can't wait to order my grill!
I’ve found the longer the rest the better for briskets and butts. For home Q I like to wrap briskets and butts in butcher paper at 170-180. Then take them until probe tender 203 or higher. Finally I wrap foil over the paper and rest them towel wrapped in a cooler for 6-10 hours, the longer the better. Even after 8-10 hours they are still too hot to handle without bbq gloves.
Watching from Colorado Springs Colorado.
Virginia, my new RT 590 just showed up! Ready to start smoking!

I can listen to these three joke around and talk grilling all day long. In fact I sometimes do! lol
That had to be the most annoying intro I've ever heard. I had to put down my coffee and fast forward. Rest of the video was great. :)

Got my RT 700 last Fri. Actually got 2 by mistake but called and gave payment for the 2nd. I gave it to my daughter and son in law to be as a wedding present. Can't wait to try a brisket this weekend.

I mean didn’t think y’all were size queens but same. 😂
Charleston, just got my 700 in love with it already!
Shoot Yeah!!!
.5 or .75 fat thickness?
Chuck from Chicago
Smoking a 17 lb Costco prime on my 700 tonight at 8:00pm
He said nothing you can do during trimming will change the taste, leaving the right amount amount of fat literally brings the flavor and juice after the stall
Chef Greg went wicked edge deep oh shit! Knew he was a true pro! Us knife nuts know where the real sharpness comes from.
Love the entertaining video but.... Where's the bark boys?
#brisket baby
What is the definition of "probe tender"?
@recteq
3 жыл бұрын
Your probe can go into the meat with ease. No real force to check the temp.
I'm single with no kids, so I bought the Rec Tec RT- 340. So nice, I don't even want to get it dirty. BUT I WILL!!!!!!!!

Bruh. Looks good but y'all definitely have a different style over there.
Lol that fat would be called rendered fat it binds with the bark.
Where’s the butcher paper? The foil ruined the bark. I love my Recteq but holy crap that brisket is sure not how its done here in Texas.
Think you guys are cool - Didn't learn SH#T - Sad because seems like you guys have a lot of knowledge.
I hope this gets better first 20 seconds wasn't that good
