Dry ice should not be given to children at all cost cause they will surely eat it but looking at the amount added in the drink it will melt before the kids even finish the drinks because dry ice sinks at the bottom and adults are capable of understanding this so they can drink it without eating the dry ice , I was shocked that he touched dry ice without any gloves that could cause frost bite because of it's very very low temperature, so it's safe to consume the drink only if you don't eat that chunk of dry ice .
