衛生管理を徹底して食品、飲料を製造する国で育った私達にはこれは不衛生極まりなくて全く飲みたいと思えないですね。最初に割った氷にどんだけの大腸菌が？とか路上の汚さ、屋台の汚さ、作る人が素手で何やってんの？とか。日本の屋台は何故か素手でもここまで不衛生に見えないの何でだろう。

Not that much! But they must keep the ice in the proper place.

I love drinking Pakola on a hot day here in Texas. I'll have to make this at home sometime using clear ice that is not brown and flavored by the dirty floor however.

There is nothing better than preparing it the traditional way, ice made from water of dubious origin, straight from the floor and other people's feet, flavored with fly feet, hand water that falls back into the container, milk mixed with water. .. honestly the traditional way has a much more magical touch.
