You should try out sonya with smoke, her neutral kameo combos from his F1,2,1+2 and EX smoke port into 1,1 if you wait a millisecond after 1,1 you land and she sets you up for a combo

4 definitely cancels into the air teleport, more consistently than 1 in fact.

You can online confirm from certain strings now

The cancel is so hardest thing on the game to hit right now I cannot time it right up close

you have to input bf3 straight after your starter and the moment you see smoke start to disappear hit b and block. there’s a short gap between the bf3 and cancel

What I found easiest is to try your best to react to the smoke animation after inputting bf3 as soon as you see it input bR2/RT it gets easier and easier after that

Man the input timing is really weird. I keep inputting too early. You have to do it when you see him turn into a cloud, and as you said you'll hear the WOOSH. I really wish I could input the buttons early and just have it cancel.

Has smoke been nerfed? I cant cancel into teleport uppercut after air 1-1

I can cancel the dash easily if i'm not doing a string. It's significantly harder to cancel for some reason if you're mid string. Can imagine online it's still gonna be booty to execute.

Agreed it is pretty hard, if it’s proving to be a problem I suggest using a summon kameo as the ground part of the combo extensions, like a freeze or sarreena multi toss

Yea i've been using Sareena. Works great. I just which the cancel was simply the back button without the block, feel like that's what makes it hard. His teleport cancel is easy to execute.@@mralberonenfgc

Try waiting a tiny bit longer with the cancel. I had the same thing and tend to press everything asap but that doesn't work. U have to time the cancel

Why does my grab go through them after the 1-2?

I have seen 32, Dash > 32, F121+3 that can finish with DB2 or ExDB4. I always seem to drop the F121 though on this string. Any idea on why they always seem to hit the ground after the first F1?

Hit the second 32 earlier than the first and try to hit F121+3 earlier as well

I just base it off when I see the move activate and when I expect to hear the “WHOOSH” and if I press back block right when that whoosh happens it seems to come out consistently. But it is certainly rough.. try using a kameo extender like a freeze if it proves too rough

So there is a window, you can not do it early or too late. I tried to option select the input and you can hold away opponent and block as soon as you do the dash cancel move to get the cancel, when you do it raw. Now, if you do it with a string, there is different properties. Meaning the option select for the naked raw skill is irrelevant. You got to do string>delay>cancel. The timing is air tight so you will find the window, once you do just practice it, remember, not too soon or too late, find the window and gl practicing it.

P.s. When you do the input, let go of the di-pad for a second and do the input away and block at the same time. Should you hold back or guard, it will not come out. The delay requires you to not hold the buttons for a second.

How do you land the tele while you are already in the air I just can’t get it? I just slide into there body once they hit the ground and nothing happens

If you do f12 grab, EXdb4: Delay the 1 1 in the air. You don’t want to delay it too much, but wait until both characters look like they are falling

But isnt hard to do them online, since everybody blocks

to all my smoke homies spending the next 3 days in practice for dash cancelling.

@@SirJubington69 Yea after 3 days i gave up on it, not sure if its pc inputs being worse than console or what but it's too inconsistent to play with in ranked.

Just so yall know F32 has a gap that can be armored through and flawless blacked for a full combo.

I got 55 with forward 3 2 cyrax copter forward 4 teleport 11 teleport 11 teleport 112 easy 55%

When I do teleport into 1,1 back into teleport, the 2nd teleport never hits

Delay the 11

I'm positive I'm doing the inputs right, but the teleport won't connect after following them into the air on that 40% combo you showed at the end. I tp and slide into their body as it hits the ground but won't connect

You have to input 11+db4 as one string. The db4 needs to be really fast otherwise it doesn't link together.

@@Qaw3n that's what's so strange, I'm going hyper fast, double knock up, jump follow, 11db4 but the slide always hits the body as it's on the ground. I've been trying for an hour haha it's driving me insane cause I know I'm inputting it

You're not alone, im having the same problem. Can't seem to get the knock up as high as he does on the 2nd launcher before the air string :( Doesn't seem to be character specific either

The dash cancel is a pain in the ass! Why didn’t they make it so you can just hold B-Block? I’ll get it…

String F 3,2 with the B, F + 3 (Vicious Vapors) then B + Block with a delay. I input the cancel after the overhead lands

Anybody else having trouble enhancing? Like I’m pressing the button but shit comes out

I’d you mean doing enhanced/ex special moves, you have to press the block button at the same time as you press the button for the special, so do the motion (back forward or whatever, then button and block at the same time, should work, and it’s easier if you block button is a bumper and not a trigger in my opinion

@@uigabe5064 Sareena is just the top tier god kameo rn, but I like using Stryker with Smoke; It makes basically every single string Smoke has a true 50/50 and insane mixup potential, if you're willing to get REALLY creative his Grenades combo well into your standing 3,2 starter
