he has a huge background you cant talk about every chatacter , the balance story in the game is 9/10 never boring , quan chi parts in cinematics are way too exquisite

I love how this game gave the often disregarded characters (Smoke, Reptile, Baraka) a time to shine, and made them into actually cool and respected characters.

And then Reiko and Havik barely have *anything* apart from match intros. And then somehow Cyrax and Sektor are cyber *before* the cyber lin kuei become a thing as kameos... The kameos are a very odd decision for MK1, with opposite sides fighting together against their own respective allies (such as Havik and a Scorpion kameo against Shang and a Stryker kameo)

Reptile from a minion that no one respects and the last of his kind to a outcast that got the friendship of both earthrealmers and outworlders, even a romance with a demon Baraka from a ruthless minion constantly being killed to diseased edenian that wishes to help those like him. All deserve these glow ups and new found friendships with the heroes

Liu Kang did really do everything in his power to keep peace on this timeline but bad things happened which were out of his control. He gave Shang Tsung a uninteresting life to keep out of the path he had taken in the other timeline, he could have done so much worse to him but yet he still gave him a change and everyone else but they still choose to become that way. Liu Kang needs more appreciation

I'm simple czech. Everytime I see Smoke I'm happy that our little country has its own Earthrealm defender. I'm also happy everytime I see Mileena but for very different reasons.

I love how with the outworlders, he is just curious about Outworld and just ask them questions in regards to their culture, government and the different races that exist in the case of Reptile Kinda wholesome honestly

I love the mutual respect Smoke has with Syzoth and Raiden. I also love the witty banter between him and Kung Lao.

The fact he chooses loyalty towards liu kang is admirable since he was basically a jobber slave to kronika but that's what separates kronika from liu kang he gives people a way to show their true character a CHOICE. I was never a liu kang fan but I love him in mk1 raiden really picked a worthy successor.
