A classic sketch from the 1980's sketch show Alas Smith and Jones which starred Mel Smith and Griff Rhys Jones. What would you do if you had someone like this at a funeral?

Hilarious but it reminds me of a true burial. A colleague and friend of mine had lost her mother a few months after her father and she was, understandably, devastated. It was pouring and the plot looked like a badly kept construction site, we had to walk on planks ; when she wanted to throw a flower in the open grave she got stuck half-calf in the mud and we had to drag her back to safety.

Best comedy comes from serious situations, not laughed so much since I saw Dick Emery do a sketch, racing a hurse down a motorway with a coffin in the back. The rear door flung open the coffin slid out, and bounced down the road. Think I will look see if it's on you tube.
