I love how the crashing plane at the end implies that all flights will be grounded as a result of the incident, so they'll be stuck in the airport for even longer.

YES! God was in fact voiced by Gilbert Gottfried. In fact, this was his final role before passing away. Oddly fitting. RIP to a legend.

Its funny that you mention Mips animation style looking like he came from a 70s cartoon when he actually based off the Hobbit animated film from the 70s.

The Brazil episode had to be one of my favorites. Fun fact: During that episode, they actually called "The Boss" live during their recording and just sprung this little improv session on him. So everything said this episode on the phone was actually his genuine reaction. 😂

12:28 The creators originate from Newgrounds, so that's where their humor comes from. They are also buddies with a KZreadr named OneyNG/OneyPlays if you want to get more of their humor.

Not to mention that they do most of the voices too since he was thinking Zach sounded like a Bob's Burgers character. He should react to some of his Psychicpebbles content and Michael Cusack's Damo and Darren, YOLO, and Bushworld Adventures.

Funny story, you actually nailed it with the phone call to The Boss from Brazil. The crew gave the actor for Boss a heads up that they would be calling in character at some point, but did not give him context and told him to improv whatever the call was.

My favorite detail from the brazil episode is that if you actually go back and stare at charlie's facial reactions, you can see him take notice of the local's hand going back and him actually flinching when he points in reference to how he said later that he thought the local was gonna punch him.

This seems like Alan was the one who messed up the hotel situation because he said on Messenger that he wasn't gonna do it even though Pim handled the plane tickets you never message someone trip information on messenger it doesn't come through sometimes call and talk in person never give someone the whole load of flight and board that makes no sense.

The opening where they talk about the Renaissance men actually is the voice actors just talking in the booth. That wasn't scripted and they just added it and used it to wrap up the episode as well

Fun facts: 1) The princess in episode 6 is voiced by Erica Lindbeck, who also voices Loona in Helluva Boss and Emira in The Owl House. 2) They were having some problems with audio mixing for Gilbert Gottfried. Firstly, he didn’t have anything to record with, so he used a podcast recorder. This caused problems with audio as Gilbert’s audio was too loud and there were email notifications in the background. They put music over it so it sounded less clipped and to hide the email notification noises. Also, another cartoon where Charlie makes people in hell happy.

Ever's predictions always get a smirk outta me esp when ive seen the show already 😂 as an aside, you should try watching OneyPlays, like in your down time, if you want more of this humor. Id suggest starting off with compilations. You may very well recognize some of the voice actors. Fun fact about the Christmas special: the VA for grandfather glep is joshua tomar, an iconic jewish man and irl friend of zach hadel (one of the creators). It adds two layers of funny to know this.

28:33 Mardi Gras is a New Orleans thing, but it's also the day before Ash Wednesday, so a lot of Catholic countries would celebrate some version of it. In Brazil they would call it Carnival.

You really don't need to be high to make a show like this. One of the creators Zach has said before he's heard that expression so much and hates it, because you really don't need drugs to be creative fun and artistic. Even if it's super weird, the ideas aren't in drugs they're in you ❤️ watching this show does slap extra hard with some ganja tho fr
