I was lucky enough to run across a good quantity of these cumanstion boards.there is gold plating all over the board itself plus hand full of gold corner chips then bunch of ice chips.i have about 50 of these that I have been separating the components.im looking forward to seeing results from running them.just not sure if I should use nitric or should I use kiln and smelt it adding some lead as collector metal

Smelting is a straight forward process, people prefer chemical processing, though.

It's not a good result.. Gold should be more.... It's less... Not sure you get benefit.... Gold must be 8 gram....

Do you use water sulfuric and nitric as a CuCl2 solution to release foils?

Yes, after removing solder (Lead) i use this mix, it consumes less nitric acid to digest base metals. And it's way faster than CuCl2.

What/how was the Cement Cuppel made? I've only ever seen bone.

Just by forming some dry Portland cement using a round bowl.

Nice result, way is kinda not my piece of cake, dont like lead, but whatever is good for you... Efficient it is for sure...

@@PickyPlans I did. I cupel only with bismuth, small things, gold karat scrap, foils from fingers or from pins, works good, XRF said 99,8% purity. Not tried to do bismuth bath, bismuth is expensive. Kg like 40-50 USD...

Why do you preburn the material? Why not put ICs into the crucible with lead and flux on top and melt it down?

Carbon is not easy to be fluxed, it's been incinerated to lower the reducing powder of carbon and litharge consumption as the result.

Those lead bars added to the cupel are the same metals used in smelting e waste ash... In the crucible...I used lead as the collector metal to catch gold then i oxidized those lead and gold alloy to get the gold out.

Mining companies will start mines with values at 5 grams per. 2000lbs ore, extracted from the earth at high cost. 31.5 grams per 2000lb is rare. At 2.25 grams per 15kg, that's awesome
