It is very hard to add anything to it because it becomes very intrusive on the vocals. There isn't a whole lot of ways to play this one to be honest.

It's great to see Estepario playing a cover very straight forward, copying the original song note for note without any improvisation. Too often drummers will try to showcase their skill and add too many extra notes in a way that does not serve the song. This guy understands that the SONG comes first. That said, he played it with tons of energy and accents that show he has the skill to play any song, but understands when to let the SONG take precedence. Any band would be lucky to have you to in their band, my friend. Cheers to you.

Unless it’s Terry Bozzio, the drummer has “show toms.” Terry Bozzio will always be the exception, and may have as many toms as he would like.

That weed on the snare though is total solid 😎

It’s cause he is using a actual mic setup than before! I think he was using the Yamaha system for recording before. Now he’s gone legit!

@@GabrielKeilholtz Well, I'd say that's a completely different topic. Sure, he is using a more professional mic setup here, you're right. But that includes, anong others, room mics. Because there's room to record in the first place. You could put 10,000 dollars of mics in his usual super small room, you wouldn't get a huge ROOM sound. Which was the original commenter's point.
