Smell of the ghetto. Anna Stupnicka-Bando’s account

During World War II, Anna Stupnicka-Bando (b. 1929) together with her mother Janina Stupnicka helped the Jewish girl, Liliana Alter, during the Holocaust in Warsaw (Poland). In 1984, Anna Stupnicka-Bando and her mother were honored with the title of Righteous Among the Nations. We present her account from the oral history collection of POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews.
