I just bought a wrecked S-10 at an insurance salvage auction. All I really need is the transmission, but I need to make sure that works. The best way to do that is a test drive!

I worked at an auto parts manufacturer in the early 90s. We made the gearshift levers for all Chevy / GMC full-size and S10 pickups , Sonomas ,Blazers and Jimmys. Probably even that one. I thought I recognized it.

Yup, my brother had a porch indy car from the 70s I believe it was a Radio Shack brand and yes Sir! It would go straight forward and steer backing up only. The fact they put a useless steering wheel on the remote for it! Was not only deceiving but a huge letdown of stealing my big brother's toy and scouring the house for enough batteries and of course it required a 9vt and sh¹t load of double A's to play with it before he got home from work! Only to find out it definitely looked a lot cooler than it worked Lol! Great memories my man!

Accident forensics, you say?!.. Divorce settlement required they split the truck between 'em. She tried doing it by ramming it into his boat.

I think the back damage happened first by backing into a pole or something. And then they kept driving the car and drove into something. If it was a drunkard they might have done both on the same trip.

There are probably parked in a parking lot with a pole behind them and somebody slammed into the front and shoved them into the pole I saw the aftermath of a lady who crashed her car in a parking lot into a pole in totaled out the front end in a place where you should only go 10 mph

Looks like it might be an offset head-on collision with rotation propelling the truck backwards into a pole.

quite the aluminum can flattener. I have found some good motors that way.. a plus was a positrack rear end and then it might just be the lincoln weld model. I never throw stuff away unless it is pure crapola. Even that flat sheet of body metal that you folded off with your feet leading me to believe that chevy saved money the day that got tagged together.

Yeah, the good thing about wrecked cars is that they were running and driving at the time of the accident. More likely to run well than the "ran when parked" ones out in a field...

I don't understand how this channel doesn't have more subscribers, This guys the real deal not lubed up the anus with corporate money (not that he wouldn't take it. All I'm saying is this dudes been doing this for a long time all with good content and a interesting collection of unique stuff. Don't know what will happen when the channel gets the 100,000+ subscribers it deserves, old Low Buck might not know what hit him.
