I think the Smash Up philosophy comes down to making sure every faction asks for something, and every faction has something to offer. Action Heroes offers some raw power to drop on bases, and asks for recursion, movement, and more raw power.

I feel like theres some potential here with Megatroopers or Ninjas maybe. Not sure though. I feel like the concept works but not sure about in practice.

Seems like a good cyborg ape combo. I have a hard time listening to you and reading the cards, especially with these new faction reviews where I don’t know the cards before going into the video. Maybe you could keep the previous card on screen by moving it to the other side? Just a thought.

Yeah, I constantly have my finger on the pause button. It tends to work unless it is only shown for a split second.

Is it just me or does it seem like Smash Up has finally 'jumped the shark'? None of these new factions sound like anything I really want to add to the game. Is anybody else saddened and disappointed by these new expansions?

I think that the Action Heroes are actually pretty interesting compared to some of the previous faction. But I need to agree with the fact that they jumped the shark some time ago.
