Mewtwo is a character that is tough to master in Melee and it is interesting that many of his skills and quirks were added to this incarnation. Mewtwo is a good character for the patient fighter who waits and gets the Kos when they matter as opposed to fighting offensively. Plus if you can master Mewtwo's Shadow Ball, that Break the Targets stage can be done quickly. I always envisioned what Mewtwo would be in Smash 64 as it was made to be a fighter, I'm glad they incorporated the purple flames and stun animations, that was something that I hoped they would add.

And because of all that he’s my favorite in smash bros period. It’s satisfying to learn a character not many can grasp, and just bulldoze your opponents with ridiculous tech. He’s just a monster in remix, just the way I like it.

Mewtwo is a mind game fighter. He is basically annoy your opponent and take advantage and punish. His tail is a very good tool. Disable is best to punish those who make obvious mistakes. His nair is a great damage racker. Shadow Ball can save you and is good when kill confirming. Disable is a free hit and should capitalize on it. His throws are very good and his forward and down smash smash is deadly.
