This took me way more than expected. I could've done much better if I know some of Mewtwo's combos, so I guess that will wait until I clear this mode without losing a stock.

The rom can be played in Nintendo 64 (through everdrive + Expansion Pack), Project 64 and Retroarch. It can also be played in Not64 (Wii homebrew app), but it suffers from several sound glitches in my cas

Yup, and when he mega Evolves into Mega Mewtwo X, he looks like Frieza at 100% of his full power!

You seem to use Mewtwo in battle pretty much the same way that I use him.
Although l kinda wish mewtwo as characters , with its move set anmations and everything else was designed way based on how it would be in gen1,
Although I kinda wish Mewtwo as character, with its moveset, animations, and everything else was designed in a way based on how it would be in gen 1, even before the first movie, similar to how Wario was made to be based on Wario Land before WarioWare came out, I'm still impressed with what they did with Mewtwo in Smash 64's style.
It took mewtwo 284 PERCENT to kill lucas and his throws were plain useless

Mewtwo’s target stage looks similar to Samus’ stage in Melee except the shape of the blocks in both characters’ stages.

Considering Melee Mewtwo is regarded as a bottom-tier, I don't think that's too hard to accomplish. Even if not Sm4sh Mewtwo, maybe SR Mewtwo is similar to Ultimate Mewtwo before the buffs to his tail hitbox.
