Second vid I have watched of yours and I think they are great. Not boring at all, the way you put over the information is clear, even an old git like me can grasp it. Thank you and keep them coming.

Personally I've always found it easier to use the video camera for self takes. Set your phone up on the tripod so everything is in frame, roll video, go get the fish out of the net/sling and then hold it up in a couple of poses showing both sides before slipping it back. Stop the video and then once the rods are back out and you've got a bit of time you can go through the video frame by frame until you find the shots you like and do a screen grab or image select.Obviously it's not going to be as fine quality as a proper camera but more than good enough for most purposes (certainly as good as most front facing cameras)

I have this but only use the tripod as with new phones you no longer get a jack plug so it's useless. So the best option is to use your phone settings to say CHEESE, SMILE with the voice activated settings to take the photo.

Been using this kit for a year now and it's absolutely brilliant! As for the fill in light i used a old micro usb connector and glued it to the tripod which now allows me to just click it on there as my phone also don't have a aux input.

Let me tell everybody I bought one of these and it is absolutely fantastic. Does exactly what it says on the tin. It works perfectly great bit of kit if you’re on your own

Oddly for all my time carp fishing, specimen fishing or pleasure fishing, i very rarely took a camera (before camera phone) and when i did take my G2, it was mostly used for scenery. I've not been one for pics, plenty of UK carp over 20lb to mid 30s, bream and tench to mid doubles plus eels over 7lb, I have never had the inclination to take pics. (I don't even feel the need for family holiday snaps, and my wedding photos were insisted by the wife 😁). But this looks ideal for some things 🤔🫤😁

Great bit of kit I've had my for a while now

Whistle cam is a free app. Get yourself in the frame, lift the fish, when it's calm, then just whistle and you hear the click as it takes the photo. Any basic cheap camera tripod will do. You can use a self timer but they often aren't ready when the fish is. Whistle cam works....if you can't whistle learn! Lol The NGT tripod is great value for money and light too.

How does the extension light fit to a new iPhone. Would of been better to show the pairing & set up of both Android & iOS handsets

My phone i can just say shoot and it takes pics or hold your palm up, on most phones you can adjust shooting methods in camera settings to do this.

Can you use it for go pro?

cameras are voice on most fones . Just enable in settings and say cheese 🧀

i use the selfie fish set up more compact screws straight on to ya bankstick

Just say shoot at your phone and it will take a picture 🤷‍♂️

Total aside but what’s the chair your sitting on ? I’m in need of a higher chair as in winter keep slipping getting up from the standard low one

BEWARE just set up the remote and it corrupted my phone had to do a complete reset

The light doesn’t work with the new iPhones!?? There’s no aux jacking point? So the light is useless!!! Would love to know why they release a product that isn’t compatible with modern phones???

Is the remote shutter waterproof or water-resistant? Just asking because your probably gonna have wet hands.
