Overview video of SmartMag Magnetometer with realtime ASCII output over RS232 for one of my customers. They are using it to calibrate other magnetic toys, so they need the real time output. Usually it's used as a base, or as a second sensor in a gradiometer, but it can be used for so many things.
This contract is tiny, but we always want to help our customers out. We bought the non-magnetic custom serial cable for this customer. Props to the manufacturer, GEODEVICE, for creating a firmware update (adding the protocol configuration option) just to support this application.
