Interesting to note: IF she did blame this “god” ... she would have to blame the same “god” for the kidnap , rape, and abuse, and the long time without rescue. I certainly am not saying anything negative about her or her situation, she is truly an inspiration... but I’ll let that be a testament to humanity, and her incredible emotional intelligence and stability. It will never cease to amaze me that anyone thinks it’s a miracle that this “god” allows this and then is praised for saving her from it ......

To be able to endure what she went through as just a sweet, innocent child & come out the other side as a brave, smart, articulate young woman, that had the strength & courage to stand up strong, to testify against this horrible monster & still come out of all this as she has is totally amazing. Such a wonderful ending to this terrible nightmare. Wishing you many bright & happy years for your future Elizabeth.

I thought that was strange too. It seems like they got her not to talk about details because it would hurt them too much an she didnt talk since she didn't want to hurt her parents either. I'm sure she needed to get it out. It was like they blocked it out.

She’s been threaten to the point where she doesn’t know if it’s safe to say anything or not.... her parents don’t want to say the wrong things thAt might trigger anxiety or horrible memories. This is a good time to mention that if youre ever in a similar situation DO NOT GO TO THE SECOND LOCATION! If youre being threatened youre more likely to survive wherever you originally are , home, a parking lot, the store. Youre most likely not far from another person who could help. You lose any control if you go to the second location. So fight back while you have the chance, scream, kick, run, but dont go quietly.

What she went through would kill 90% of children, and I don't mean "the captor murdered them." I wasn't kidnapped and got to go home at the end of every day, but I was raped regularly for about 8 months and I still struggle. The headstrong intelligence, heart and, frankly, hope that this woman has demonstrated is nothing short of incredible. Honestly even if she did crumble, because there's no possible way she didn't get out without some cracks at the very least, she would still be stronger than most people.

2:41 "Mitchell raped the teen at will" Of course it was at will. How can anyone unwillingly rape someone? Rape is rape, the rapist uses the victim however he wants to fulfill his own sick needs. There's no way to "accidentally" rape someone, it doesn't matter if their intentions were different or whatever, it's still rape.
