    I might be going a little "iRobot" these days, but I'm actively trying to avoid stuff like this. I finally bit the bullet and went with a smart timer for my landscaping. Worked great until the software developer pushed an update that rendered it useless. I'm hesitant to incorporate any more automation that's app dependent. I feel like you're just one bad update away from not being able to turn your stinkin lights on in your house. I'll stick with dumb switches for now. Thanks for the content though brother, I appreciate you!

    @@rthony7780 What do you mean? A kind of question that an Electrician asks, yes NEED A NEUTRAL, are you aware that Lutron smart dimmers don't need a neutral to work ? Meanwhiles before all devices that had electronics in them required a neutral to function.

    ​@@RobZajac ELV and smart dimmers do dumbass. That's why it became a code requirement to have a neutral at every switch box a few years ago.
