    As I mentioned in the end of the drive, the chain has gotten quieter on its own, maybe it needed to settle something in?

    And just like that, you're driving it! Amazing work Dan. You had to solve so many little problems and design so much stuff to get to this point. Well done! The sprag makes it sound completely different than my car -- when you let off the throttle, the bike engine drops back down to idle, correct? I worry a bit about the shock load of getting back on the throttle hard and the bike engine spinning back up suddenly loading tension in the chain, but I don't know if it'll be an issue for you.

  • @HandyDan

    @HandyDan

    I have to remember that I designed it for extra range 😀, it's not a race car. But I was surprised that the sprag held up to 3/4 throttle, I'm still hesitant about FULL SEND

    I like the little things you've done, such as the side exhausts, but there sure are a lot of compromises in the drivetrain, suspension, and your safety (smart car air bags) that are hard to swallow (for me). Thanks for the entertainment though.

    It sounds like the clutch is slipping and the chain is too loose it’ll round out your teeth. You’re supposed to have a way too tighten the chain like a motorcycle moving the rear wheel back but I think it’s too late now to implement a design like that into your build
