He didn't choose Lois over Lana. Lana was forced to leave. He wanted so bad to be with her, but physically touching her literally killed him.

This is why I prefer the show to the comics. I loved both, but Lana and Clark's love was always my favorite on the show, and I loved Chloe's character. Smallville wouldn't have been what it was without them.

Our boy was so overwhelmed that he dropped his screwdriver and even then he needed her touch to validate its her

Clark really really should have stayed with Lana, there was always this beautiful sense to their relationship, there was real depth of feeling.

I remember my gf had moved to another country and I hadn’t seen her in months. We were trying the long distance thing but it wasn’t really working, we were 21 and 22 at the time. We missed each other a lot but we didn’t like who we were becoming, always on the phone at parties and whatnot. My friends convinced me to come out this one night, I really didn’t want to, but they insisted and I didn’t understand why. She surprised me there, she tapped my shoulder as I was sitting down, kinda like Lana did to Clark here. When I turned around I couldn’t say anything for the next minute or so, I was literally speechless I was so happy/shocked to see her. She kept saying “say something!” lol! But I just kept hugging her waist as I was sitting down and she was standing up. I always thought “I was speechless” was an expression, but it really doesn’t happen. That was about 10 years ago. Good memories.

One of my favorite scenes not just in the series, but of all time. Clana was so amazing.

I can't imagine how strange that must be for Clark. I mean thinking your girlfriend just came back from the dead. but i still cried when i saw this scene! i love them together so much! they deserve each other forever and ever!

The instrumental music in this scene was an ear worm thingy for me for weeks .. Lol I couldn't pick where I might have heard it from(years ago) .. Until I was remembering the scene where Kara was walking naked in the house .. Everything just connected .. Lol I yelled .. Finally recalled!!!!!

If you ask me, with everything these two have been through, Lana's the one he deserves.

That’s right! I mean this is Clark’s story anyways when he is not yet superman. They should’ve at least let Clark and Lana be the endgame in this show.

I love the relationship of them 2, but they could have taken her out a lot sooner in the show!!! seventh season and she was still out there, ridiculous, they made us fall in love with their story to then take it out cruelly... with kripto body WTF

Yes they made the mistake of having the audience fall in love with Lana and Clark and it made it really unpleasant to watch him get with Lois that's exactly why I stopped watching the show back then

All those years Lois was in Smallville, Lana had a boyfriend, got married, "died", came back, "broke up" with Clark using a DVD tape and still, Clark chose Lana. Then suddenly he starts liking Lois cause he and Lana can't physically be near each other. The writers were so lame.

Nothing I mean nothing can beat the look on Clark/Tom Wellings face when he feels her touch his shoulder and he realizes instantly who is touching him.

The guy loved Lana for life

In the comics it was actually the other way around... Lana Lang has always had an infatuation with Clark Kent, but he just didn't get to love her enough to actually fall for her. In the comics Lana Lang was more of a Chloe Charcter, while Lois takes on Lana's Part. Chloe Sullivan however was never in the comics, but merely put into existence by the writers of Smallville.

A lot of Clois purists tend to have this perception that Lois is the end-all-be-all for Clark and he should have no one else (even I thought that way too.), but they forget that Clark did not become Superman because of Lois. He is who he is because of his adopted parents. He'll be Superman with or without her. Besides, even if they hook up, he will outlive Lois by centuries if not several millenia. Will that make him hang up the cape? Come on!

She did marry Lex because Lionel threatened her to kill Clark if she doesn't...Then she reveals to Clark that she knows the truth about his powers...Clark saves her from a bounce of threads...and in the final episode of season 6 she pretend to be dead by an car explosion nad she leaves to Japan...In the beginning of season 7 we see where she is and in s07e03 she returns to Smallville...You HAVE to see the whole episodes...You don't know what you missing...!!! ;)

@SolcitodeRosario whoahh, I'm just expressing my opinion, don't be so harsh! lol, peace and love :) and I like Lois because she's strong and independent. She knows how to fight for herself, she wants to be hero. I love the empowerment she has as a woman... Lana always needed to be saved by Clark no matter what the circumstance was. And Lois is gorgeous :P just saying :)

Actually they are not! Since 1938 it's always been Lois. Although Lana Lang was considered as a part of Superman's past... and she does have her place in the comics, just not as the love of his life. I know it's hard for real Clana fans to accept who mainly are fans because they watched this show and know litte about the comics... but they were never meant to be together forever and a day. The writers of Smallville actually messed with your mind and I'm sorry for that.
