Excellent scene between the Kents and Lois. She doesn't hide behind sarcasm when expressing her gratitude to the Kents for letting her stay, and she doesn't stop the playful banter with Clark either. The way he lights up when she says she's leaving is brilliant! How many times did she inadvertantly or otherwise change his mood from bummed out to happy?

Exactly!!! They simply just FIT! Perfect match. She loves his parents and is so Genuine with them & they LOVE Lois too!! 🤗😍 When Mr. Kent says she's Welcome back anytime, Clarkie is such a di*k for saying, "Well, actually..." 😒😤😂 Mrs. Kent pipes up Real quick! Shut his ass up!! lol I noticed Clark was NEVER this Funny or Sarcastic with the other LL 🙄

Jonathan knew!!! He knows his son & I always believed he was WAY over the constant nonsense involving Lana. I think he knew it was just a matter of time for Lois/Clark & I love that.

I love when the dog just comes up onto the table and lois looks at him like great you again lol also erica durance did a great job as lois, the banter between her and clark was one of the things that made me love the 4th season of smallville!

Daniel Haddock Yeah, but some of that banter started to disappear as the series progressed. They dragged the Clana nonsense for way too long and after that, Clois felt a bit rushed.

luckyjasonfan there was a season 11 comic book series it’s pretty solid it’s not as good as the best of the shoe but it’s definitely some solid Superman story telling and it includes stuff fork the larger dc world like batman showing up

The Kents have already made Lois a part of the family. They loved what they saw in her and I think deep down knew she was the one for Clark.

lois and the kents.. this is just soo cute!

The non-verbals (the looks the characters gave each other) made this scene 100 times better.

I hate that we never got to see Jonathan's reaction to Lois and Clark dating!

Summer Davis In a way you kind of get to see his reaction. In the series finale when Clark is walking her down the aisle and looks over and sees his dad standing next to his mom; his dad smiles and nods at him. It might just be me but I've always taken that as his dad's subtle way of saying "you made the right choice"

I just realized: •Clark and Lois had much more happy memories in the farm and with the Kents than Lana and Clark ever had. •Clark saw all different sides of Lois and fell Inlove with all of them {Clark to Martha :"Talking to her as "the blur",I saw a different side of her and it made me fall deeper"}. But when Clark saw another side of he couldn't recognize it and then he started doubting if she's the one he'll end up with.

Yes. He never wanted to believe the dark sides of Lana or he always blamed them on himself. He even told her once that he was trying to see if he could even still recognize parts of her. But with Lois, he literally is never disappointed in her. He really does love every part of her.

Its amazing how the parents accepting Lois they know i think she s the girl for their son

I just have a HUGE smile on my face through this entire scene... I flove it! Best part is when Mrs. K cuts Clark off and says "we'll ALL miss you." lol She needed to smack Clarkie upside the head for being so mean to their house guest =) OMG, the nightmare about the "guy in the red cape," and "keep your tears to a minimum." lol And Clark with the HUGE smile at Lois... I love it all :-)

You are def, right. I really loved the banter between these two. It is better then the usual boy meets girl story - and fall in love instantly. And due to the fact also that Lois is a strong woman who doesn't take crap from no one.

Who else thinks that if they showed clark more in the toddler/kid stage like in the pilot flashback he would be so cute as in the words of Johnathan in an episode " a wide eyed toddler running around on the farm" and comment if anyone cached the flashback movies or pictures around the house of " baby clark" but in the ones that we do see he is soo cute right? Sorry for this comment being so long.

Season 4 was pinnacle of the series it got better around season 4

Well I’m a way he did. During their wedding when Clark is walking her down the aisle he looks over and sees his dad smiling next to his mom. Plus, I think his dad always knew they’d eventually fall for one another, he probably knew Clark was falling for her long before he even realized it

When a Clois fan put together the top 20 Clois moments the scene in season 4 when she dunks him in the water at a school activity the caption below it said “The start of them”. Their reaction to each other was priceless, especially Clark’s smile. I have never seen his response to Lois so natural in the rest of the series!

@@hollandfray4521 you are right. But you can’t tell that to a Clana fan. They even deny that Tom and Erica ever had chemistry. I tell them that when the behind the scenes people like directors, producers and even the co-creators have commented on their chemistry it usually shuts them up!

And then after the con tom welling unfollowed Erica on Instagram and then Erica did the same thing and then she followed him again but then unfollowed him and his wife and then she following him again.
