The thing about Jonathan Kent is, he was like a father figure for me. I don't remember anything about my dad other than he wasn't a good man, so I wish I had a father like Jonathan because in my mind, he is what a good father and good man should be.

"I am so proud of you." Coming from your dad, it gives you the greatest feeling in the world. I pity young men who never had a dad in their lives, because it is one of the best things in the world. That's the man who takes you fishing, hiking, shows you how to fix things with your hands, and who most importantly is there for you when you need help. It takes a man to raise a man. And men who run out on their sons, or daughters, are not real men at all, because REAL men stick around for their children, and despite how hard things might get, they never bail out. They teach their children right from wrong, give them direction, and they are there for their children thought the good times and the bad times. My dad taught me that, and he also taught me that being a dad never ends. I just hope I can be at least as good a dad to my future children as my dad was and continues to be to me.

Having a dad is like having a teacher... And life in itself is like a teacher so even though there are men out there that weren't taught by their fathers... They still learn if nothing everything but almost everything they'd need to know in order to become a proper man. And besides life there are other male role models to look up to and to learn from... So its not the end of the world if one of ur parent bails on u.

God, I wish our parents were still here. They were good people, they taught my sister and me right from wrong, to work hard, and to respect others and their stuff. It kills me that they won't get to see their grand daughter, my niece, grow up and my niece won't know them. It kills me that when I get married, they won't know my future wife or any kids my wife and I may have. What does comfort me is that I know they are both in Heaven and that they of course want us to be happy. We love you Mom and Dad and miss you so much.

You know sometimes I feel the same way too just like Clark because sometimes I failed about trying to do something right but instead I always do something wrong and I also failed about doing things in the right way because I'm always a failure and I took my anger on my family, and I don't even remember how I was born or what I did back then when I was younger. If only I can prove myself of what I can do to anyone or anywhere around the world and maybe I can become a hero too, but what can I do for myself to be a hero I mean I do really wish I was a hero too that way I can be the greatest hero the world has ever known and the only person in the world that can make all the difference.

Luis Dorado Those failures are what help lead you towards your destiny. The true question is will you choose to doubt yourself, or try and do everything in your power to become a hero. You must look inside yourself to see why you truly are.

Never forget that success can only exist with the possibility of failure. The same goes for right and wrong. We can only be the best humans/people we know how to be and keep on learning regardless of the outcome. Better to put the blame where it honestly and truly belongs then to waste the blame on where it won't and don't fit. Failure also give us the hard earned experiences that success can never give. We must cherish, nurture, welcome and hold on to every new experience we can aquire in life. Experience in all honesty will always be the best teacher.

The only thing that bugs me about this scene is the fan theory that Johnathan is actually a projection of jor el. Taking Johnathan's form to get through to Clark. It's an amazing scene and it's so in character for both of them. The fan theory ruins it.

Remember Johnathans mind was connected to Jor Els so I wouldn't be a stretch that Jor El is letting Jonathans Spirit that exists inside the fortress, to use him as a vessel to speak to his son. Remember Jor El Showed Johnathan in Season 2 Finale what his son would become so this might have been both of their plan.

I actually think it may of actually been Brainiac taking on Jonathan form to encourage Clark and to warn him about the coming threat. The evidence to support this theory is they've shown in earlier season that brainiac has those abilities. He used those abilities to look like Jonathan before to try to convince Clark to kill Lionel. Also a few episodes later Brainiac comes back to further encourage Clark and revealed that The legion cured him in the future. Also Clark looks away for a few seconds when he's asks what is coming and Jonathan is nowhere to be seen in a wide open field. Only someone with super speed can disappear that quickly which is also an ability Brainiac has.
