Clark was a drug addict! I don’t even think he was in love with Lana anymore but he was in the habit of her! Lois deserved better during this time! Although, once they truly fell for each other ( because right now they both don’t even understand what they’re feeling) Clark was relentless in his love for her. But this episode pissed me the hell off.

The hurt in her eyes when she walks away from him was so heartbreaking to watch she almost put herself out there for him and then Lana comes back and she backs off i felt the same way Lois was feeling he is like a little boy when it comes to Lana because she was his first crush and first love ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To be quite honest, it's good that Lois was away from all of this. Clark wasn't ready, he is only half the man he should be. And Lois as well, they are both confused and scared (as what she said to Oliver a few minutes ago, she doesn't know what it means, and she might have reading it wrong). Going with Jimmy is a good excuse to stay away from the drama of it all and give Clark some space. Clark still have some growing up to do; which of course he didn't do by staying with Lana (familiar and safe choice for him) rather than taking a chance with someone new like Lois.

Clark should have finally manned up and went with Oliver to find Chloe. But the little boy traped in a mans body stayed with Lana. What Clark needed was a swift kick in the ass by Oliver.

Lois going away prevented her from going to Jimmy's funeral. She should have been there to mourn Jimmy's death like everyone else.

I recently watched this entire series on Hulu with my husband. ❤ I enjoy watching all the clips on KZread. This scene made me cry ... I felt everything Lois was feeling. The music was perfect as she was walking away. I'm kinda glad that Lois was away at the hospital with Jimmy during the Lana episodes in season 8. That would've been torture. Once Lana was gone, season 8 - 10 allowed Clark and Lois to grow together.

I LOVE THIS MOMENT CLOIS....very very special.

Man he really didn't know what he wanted here. He clearly has some sort of feelings for Lois but then he's like I have to go back to Lana.

Clark doesn’t realize what Lois actually means until she’s walking away. She was thinking that they never get back a moment like they had before Lana showed up. Truth be told, this version of Clark didn’t deserve to get another chance much less the several he ended up getting from Lois again and again.

BubblegumGirl366 It made it even worse when she returned from Star City and Clark expected things to go right back to the way they were before he dropped her like a bad habit the instant Lana showed up. The sad part was that Smallville had two actors who had great chemistry playing one of the most iconic couples in all of pop culture yet they basically made it seem like Clark Kent settled for Lois Lane because he couldn’t be with Lana, a character most people have no idea exists in the Superman lore because she is not of great significance.

@@ElvisRose_ Everything you said, I've felt!.. for 8 years. 😩 Sincerely, in S9 and S10, Lois is wayyyy too easy on Clark. She's SUPER Supportive, endlessly LOYAL, *ready* and willing to Be with Him!. When, he stood her up (twice) or hurt her feelings (multiple times), she just _let's it go_ and never does anything to make Him, *feel* her pain. He didn't have to WORK to Get Lois... she was Completely available to him. Heart and Soul. and Body. I love them, still. One thing, I did LOVE about this Clark, is that once he *actually* started a real Relationship with Lois in S9... his words & Actions were Steady. He didn't Waver or Waffle on Clois staying Together, forever. ☺ Well, except that one brief moment by the door in the Finale, but my HEART. 💔❤ When he says, "I'm Here" 😭😭 That moment... the break in Her voice, when she Thinks he's Changed his Mind... 😢 but, he gets it!! and his words reflect the very first thing HE said to her, "You're not alone" 😭😭😭 I love them So.

I feel like Lois in this whole episode. You start seeing someone in a romantic light when you didn't before n inspite of yourself. Then her talk with Oliver...maybe I was reading it wrong...I thought someone needed me😢. Then this scene the way he looks at her. Like he's comforting her n he looks concerned but it's like hes sending her away n I think he knows it's a disaster but he can't help himself but go back to Lana. My situation so much the same n i feel like I can't compete. But then I always catch gom watching me so idk.

I took a cue from Lois and removed myself from the situation. I've distanced myself and pretty much silent with him. And like lois I feel like how could I be so stupid he doesn't care about me.

You funny thing is when things become Clark and Lois started to take serious steps Lois showed insecurity about rushing into a relationship with Clark and not once did she fear a return of Lana and getting Clark away from her again. Actually Lana was never mentioned not once.

Mais temos sim,ela tinha insegurança,tanto que quando ele falava de Lana antes sempre ela virava os olhos ,ou retrucava ele,ela não gostava a um bom tempo dessa obsessão dele pela Lana ,e qua do Lana foi bora ela foi da seu apoio e sofreu por ele,racho que por ela TB,cara eu não acredito que fizeram Lois passar por TD isso ser taxada como segunda opção pela Lana? Lana perto de Lois ela não significava nada nem blz ,em carácter ousadia ,dependência ,heroísmo e amor,e não dá de aceitar que colocaram Lois de coadjuvante enqia tô Lana estava na temporada sendo um pé no saco ,Lois não merecia ,ela era mais ,Clark na vdd deveria ter ficado mesmo com Lana e deixado os fãs tóxicos deles feliz e Lois fazendo a trajetória dela e conhecia do uma homem que colocaria ela no centro de TD ,o wie Clark não fez ,achei ele frio com lois mesmo depois deles tá juntos com lana ele era uma cachorro adestrado , e TD cuidadoso com Lois ele era mais seco sei lá Lois foi muito por ele não vi dessa mudança ele falava umas coisas pra ela ,mais em prática não via a entrega que Lois dava pra ele ser recíproco com ela .

I really erase the other two episodes Lana shows up! (I like the legion part only). That’s kind the only mistake of this show!

I don't think it's a mistake, it was a prove that lana is changed, she's become stronger, confident and clark doesn't have to protect her anymore and when she's appears after they broke up with online a video-maker i think isn't the best way, so they had to clear, and when they were finally face to face they hoped to came back together with no problems anymore because both have grown and uderstood their limits, but it was proved that this was impossible because their destiny was already designed and the prove was lana put in the conditions of saving people lives or her future with clark. Obviously she and clark choose the right thing, but this leads the impossibility for them to even approach to each other so in this way nothing can get in the way between lois and clark. I have to say that the break-up was really sad and painful but i think it was a pacific and a respectful closure of a great first love anyway.

The only person Lana ever cared about was Lana. Her become super was the most asinine thing Smallville ever did. When she left for Paris she should have stayed gone. They knew Lois and Clark were going to be end game. They just did it for unnesssry drama. And it made Clark look like a man child.

A year late on the reply but you´re correct that it speaks volumes, just not in the way you claim. Compare the way Clark looks at Lana with the way he looks at Lois from 1:57 and it´s crystal clear who he actually loves, he just doesn´t know it yet.
