Probably the first fly fishing video where I found myself in complete satisfaction while watching someone enjoying their outing and not being green with envy. What a pleasure the video was. Thank you.

This video just made it to my homepage! Very cool. Scott, the first guide is my dad and Harry is a good friend. He enjoyed this trip a lot and still tells stories from it.

Yeah, I know that Orvis shop right on Main Street. Lived in Sheridan (and Story-Banner) for 12 years. Fished creeks and small lakes all over the Big Horns and Goose Creek down into town and the Tongue River to the north near Dayton-Ranchester. Wish I was still back there.

A shame those cutties were caught before and not properly released seeing the mouth flap turned in their mouths. But they survived it and its great fun those smaller streams pocket fishing.

This way of fishing is irrelevant, it doesn't make sense. On such a small river, why do you need an assistant, a "guide", to cases fish with a net? With this way of fishing, the fisherman and another unnecessary guide, fishing loses its meaning. If a guide is required, it should be unnoticed, on the shore behind the angler, it should not enter the water. To me, it’s a big distraction for a angler.

Guides are great for people newer to the sport not only to find ideal spots to fish but also to help in technique. Also some guides have local connections for more "private" the general populace doesn't have access to
