Again! Another great review! Like you, the baby hawk 2 HD has been my go to in most favorite quad to fly for all of the reasons you've mentioned. When the 03 system came out I jumped on board pretty quick . I installed the 03 system on my baby hawk 2. It was a little tricky and I had issues at first getting rid of the vibrations going into the camera. I did some minor modifications to separate the front standoffs a little bit and also using some rubber grommets on the camera screws. If something happens to this quad, I will definitely be ordering the baby hawk 03. Happy flying everyone! This is such a cool hobby!

Great video, Kelly!! I guess this is the replacement for the TinyHawk Freestyle! I kept waiting to pull the trigger on the freestyle 2 hoping they would come out with the TH FS 3 for Christmas. Taa Daa! enter the Baby Hawk!!

This is great. I have been waiting on an O3 version of the Babyhawk

It's a great looking FPV drone, seems to have all the features that you need in this type of drone. The footage looked good also. Nice review Kelly, thanks for sharing.

Looks pretty interesting 👍 I've not yet ventured into conventional FPV drones yet but this one looks like a good little freestyle learner.

Hello Kelly. Thanks for your excellent review on the new Babyhawk 03. Except for the couple of items you brought to our attention, with quick fixes, this new drone look awesome. Wow, it's looks like someone is getting some new rooftop A/C Units. Thank you for another excellent review.

Favorite quad - hands down. It checks all the boxes better than anything else out there.

Hi nick, is this the ELRS version can i bind my dji remote controller 2 to it?

I’m thinking about getting it, would it bind to my DJI Controller 2 and the V2 goggles without ELRS? Maybe if I get it hopefully I #DontSmashIntoSomething oh and it’s nice to know it’s #KellyCertified

I don’t think you can bind it to the DJI FPV Controller 2 because of the way it is wired. I think it could be fixed, but let me check with EMAX and see.

Looks like a great little quad, Might be a good option for me to get back into fpv. I still have the fatsharks but would like an affordable digital option. Mindfiled is two days away and I'm not sure I can make this year.

Tough choice. I like the Croc Baby, but right now, having the O3 on the Babyhawk is tough to beat!

Any issues with failsafes with the ELRS antenna in the frame like that?

I'm not sure if the placement is the issue, but we've had a few random failsafes with ELRS on this quad over the last several months.

Where do you go in betaflight to get that voltage to show up?

It should be in the osd tab.

You need to get the UV filter or ND filters to protect the camera, filters are way cheaper and easier to replace then the camera. Looks like a great quad though. I'll have to try it sometime

The Babyhawk series is fantastic. I love my analog Babyhawk 2. Sadly, after two years, the camera just died. I'm thinking of putting HD Zero in it. 🤔

You might consider HDZero as a good step between analog and digital.

You can record on either one or on both. The quad has a micro SD Card slot. The biggest difference is that the recording in the goggles is not stabilized by "Rock Steady" EIS.@@dortmunder27xxx

I fly strictly sub 50 gram and hd is not an option for me as I cut every gram I can for best performance. I understand hd on 4inch and above but why on anything smaller designed on a diet for best performance? Mabe for cinematic flying I just placed an order today and wait until you see what I have coming to my channel 😉

Sounds good! Agreed that it's a weird blend of small / light and "cinematic" - but this one does a pretty good job with doing both.
