Hey Liz - the room looks fabulous! A painting tip when texture is in the way of a crisp line - before painting, run a large straight blade screwdriver along the “line” where the wall meets the ceiling. Use enough pressure to knock off the texture without damaging the surface. Sometimes it takes a couple of passes but works like a charm. I have been doing this for years and don’t ever use tape. Sorry I didn’t tell you sooner! 😖

Not a bench. That's what we used to call a hope chest. Young ladies got them to fill with their handcrafted linens, in preparation for their married life. Lol!! I feel so old!!

Just a little tip… If you ever think of changing those “night stands,” why don’t you turn a small modern wooden crate upside down, so it’s leveled with the bed! Maybe the guests will appreciate a lower night stand! Either way… the aesthetics are beautiful. I love it!! And love the navy blue and white cream colored walls and boards!!! You’re genius!!!!

Great makeover of a very tiny, quirky little room! I wasn't sure about the dark blue "paint" in the alcove, but it looks good, although I would have liked the door painted white with blue for the accent trim. The bed looked really nice and fresh, and I LOVE those sconces! You did such a great job Liz! Merry Christmas! 🎄❄️☃️🌟

As a professional painter i can promise u a crisp Line 100% of the time, if u just seal the tape twice with the White paint, and let that dry completely and then paint with the new color on top😊😊
