Balancing family, work, and school means I don't get to fish as often as I'd like, but I finally carved out some time to hit the waters. I decided to visit a small local lake for the first time. While I didn't land any huge catches, the trip was still a success. For me, the joy of being outdoors and getting a few bites is what truly matters.
