Noemi, fresh eggs do not need to be washed. The shell has a protective membrane on it which protects against bacteria entering inside because the shell is porous. You can leave them on the counter for up to 3 weeks. However if you wash them they must be refrigerated right away n they'll last about a week ....❤😊

In Canada, it is not advisable to leave fresh eggs out on the counter. Most chickens are not vaccinated and their feces can contaminate the egg. In some countries, it is standard to vaccinate laying hens. That is why many places in Europe leave their eggs on the counter, as the birds are vaccinated. Not sure about how it works in the USA? 🤔

Noemi, I had a load of green tomatoes. I watched a KZread video. Wrap each tomato in newspaper, place in a cardboard box, with a apple or banana. Check weekly. A week later they were red or nearly red. It definitely works!

We had the same issue with our tomatoes here in the Midwest. TONS of rain this year caused everything to grow into a jungle. The problem is the sun can’t reach things. A friend of ours who grew up on a farm told us to trim all of the branches that didn’t have fruit or flower on them. We did and it made a HUGE difference in our tomatoes-they started ripening. Hope this helps. LOVED this video as always! 🍅

There’s different ways to ripen green tomatoes from the vine, my mom and dad used the box method all the time: 1. Green tomatoes will continue to ripen after they've been pulled from the vine. You can speed up the ripening process by placing green tomatoes with other tomatoes that are in the process of ripening. You can also place them with fruit, such as a yellow banana or apple that hasn't finished ripening. 2. Paperbag: To ripen a few green tomatoes, put them in a paper bag, close it up, and store in a warm location. ... 3.Box method: If you have several green tomatoes you want to ripen, consider using a cardboard box.

June UK. Hi Noemi, We grow tomatoes and to help them to ripen we cut some of the leaves off to let the warmth to get around them. Also when they don't ripen we get a card board box and line it with newspaper and put the green tomatoes in with one of two green ones and they soon ripen up. Just keep looking in on them as once they start they soon are ripe

I agree. Starting in August, we strip off most of the leaves off our tomato plants and that helps to get every bit of sunlight on the fruits so that they ripen .

Hi Noemi. Those mushrooms are Japanese mushrooms called Bunapie. ( I’m Japanese) In Japan people use with sautéed vegetables, miso soup, stew and pasta. Some people make oiled mushrooms with these mushrooms. That way we can keep long time!! Just cook with olive oil, salt , pepper, garlic, chili pepper. Some people make with soy sauce. which you can use coconut amino. Oiled mushrooms are good side dish.

So I'm from northern Maine originally and my mother used to stick the tomatoes on a table in front of a window. And they will ripen on their own some people say to put in a paper bag but they will ripen on the windowsill. It's not the same as on the plant but it will ripen. Also yeah don't wash your eggs if you want them to last longer. You should Google that

What a fun video! I dehydrate a lot of fruit during winter myself and your lemons looked great. Have you thought about a greenhouse for your tomatoes and checking your soil? balance.

You can dice zucchini for spaghetti sauce or grate it and add to rissoles. My grandmother used to slice them fine, coat in flour, dip in egg and shallow fry on medium to low heat.

You could try cutting lots of the leaves off the tomatoes so the light can get to them more easily… I did this and it helped a bit x

Hi Noemie. Same problem like you in my garden. We don't have a nice Summer so vegetables not growing well except zucchinis!! I try many recepies to cook them. I love your pull-over and your wooden shelve with DIY decorations. Have a nice week-end. Here we are going back to school next week so it's the end of holydays 😢. See you soon and I will try to comment sometimes. 😘❤️

I'm thinking that I need to get a dehydrator...would definitely come in handy. Perhaps the fires in your area blocking the sunlight has had an effect on the growth of your tomatoes...🤷‍♀️ I have found that tomatoes can be a bit finicky when they don't get enough sun, rain and nutrients. We were lucky this year we have had an abundance of tomatoes, but our cauliflower isn't flourishing this year. 🤷‍♀️ I really enjoy watching your videos! 👍

You can freeze eggs let them thaw out and mash through a fine mesh strainer then they will work without any problems in any and all baking scenarios

Hi Noemi! I want to share a super simple (but effective! Even my picky and DIY-skeptic husband approved of it!) dish soap recipe that I've recently started using, thanks to my mother-in-law who found it. (I recall in another recent video you were filling your big under-sink container with separate Seventh Generation dish soap containers.) Filling up whatever size container: quarter vinegar, a quarter Sal Suds, and half water. Mix a bit, and you're set! I hope the gallon-sized Sal Suds is available to you locally- pair it with the gallon (or larger) of vinegar, and it'll take you far, with so much less packaging! : )
