Noemi, fresh eggs do not need to be washed. The shell has a protective membrane on it which protects against bacteria entering inside because the shell is porous. You can leave them on the counter for up to 3 weeks. However if you wash them they must be refrigerated right away n they'll last about a week ....❤😊

Yes, that's what I did I waited when I had a bigger amount on the shelf and I wash them so it will be ready to use.🤗💗

In Canada, it is not advisable to leave fresh eggs out on the counter. Most chickens are not vaccinated and their feces can contaminate the egg. In some countries, it is standard to vaccinate laying hens. That is why many places in Europe leave their eggs on the counter, as the birds are vaccinated. Not sure about how it works in the USA? 🤔

Noemi, I had a load of green tomatoes. I watched a KZread video. Wrap each tomato in newspaper, place in a cardboard box, with a apple or banana. Check weekly. A week later they were red or nearly red. It definitely works!
Hi Noemi 👋 I have a great tip to store mushrooms. Dry them and save in jars. When you need som you just put them in a bit Walter and let them soak a bit. / Vera from Sweden

That’s what I was thinking also.
We had the same issue with our tomatoes here in the Midwest. TONS of rain this year caused everything to grow into a jungle. The problem is the sun can’t reach things. A friend of ours who grew up on a farm told us to trim all of the branches that didn’t have fruit or flower on them. We did and it made a HUGE difference in our tomatoes-they started ripening. Hope this helps. LOVED this video as always! 🍅
I like to watch your videos at morning because it gives me positive energy and motivation for my home
Old timers used to gather all the green tomatoes wrap in paper, store in cool dark place. They would have ripened slowly and have garden tomatoes though Christmas.
You can freeze lemons whole or sliced and use them as needed later on By the way I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS !!

I do that too. Living in the desert, we have a lot of citrus around. Others will give us some of their surplus. I wash whole lemons, slice, bag and freeze. I use them in tea, and smoothies :)

Hello Noemie! Is it getting so cold already? I see you are already wearing a sweater? My eye rejoices when I see baskets 😍, I love baskets! (I can weave some types myself 🙄) And you have such a variety! Super👌! And shelves for cozy things and changing seasonal decor are always needed! Have a great weekend for all your family! 🙋
I really enjoyed your video. I think the dehydrated lemons are so pretty. You have a nice harvest from your garden.
As always, good video! Both of you are an inspiration! Thank you!
I just love you and Zsolt together! it makes me so happy to see how you relate to each other!! It is cooler here now, also!! Thank goodness!! Enjoying the crisper air for hanging out blankets, throws, etc. Love from Maine!
There’s different ways to ripen green tomatoes from the vine, my mom and dad used the box method all the time: 1. Green tomatoes will continue to ripen after they've been pulled from the vine. You can speed up the ripening process by placing green tomatoes with other tomatoes that are in the process of ripening. You can also place them with fruit, such as a yellow banana or apple that hasn't finished ripening. 2. Paperbag: To ripen a few green tomatoes, put them in a paper bag, close it up, and store in a warm location. ... 3.Box method: If you have several green tomatoes you want to ripen, consider using a cardboard box.

hello there. thank you for your video. i am always waiting for it/ I do have citrus trees and with lemons i just freeze them sliced up or else wrapped them up in foil sliced also, i make lemonade or ice cubes for it also. with tomatoes i make paste sauce for the winter and it keeps up so well. even with bells pepper cause i serve it with fish dishes. the mushrooms its best to freeze them in containers with kitchen towel placed in the bottom or small brown paper bags in the fridge. keep it them xxx
Love shelf.
Can't believe you're wearing a sweater already! It's 91 and humid in Michigan. Can't wait till sweater weather comes to us!

Love watching your beautiful home
Hi, Noemi! I LOVE when I get alerts to a new video from you, and when it is small projects, even better! I too procrastinate sewing just due to getting machine out. It is silly, it is 2 feet away from where I sew, and takes 2 seconds, but....idk why, lol. Have a good week, keep up the good work!
You two are so cute together!! Loved the hanger hook earring😂😂
I love watching your videos. They are so calming. I love your scandi lifestyle and your beautiful house. Xx
I truly look forward to each Tuesday and Friday for your video. I really wish you posted more often BUT I know the work involved. Please know how you/your videos bring so much joy and encouragement and motivation to us. Blessings! Doris @ San Diego

It is amazing how many eggs your chickens lay! Happy chickens! On another note, your husband has really become an integral part of your videos! I enjoy watching you two working together! 😊

Wow, your hens are laying those eggs!!! Impressive! I miss my hens. I couldn't bring them to Texas.
You and your husband are so funny, I can’t wait until your next video, you both make my day.🤓❤️
I saw an amazing idea for zucchini flour on tiktok! She dehydrated thick slices and then blended them to a powder. She said she uses the flour in many ways and it has very little taste. Blew my mind!! You could make any squash into flour this way! Also Zsolt is the cutest husband on earth!!

Another great video
HI Noemi, love watching the videos. They relax me so much.. You should try a nice Coffee scented candle in the mornings!!
Γεια σου Noemi από Ελλάδα! 😃 Hello Noemi from Greece 😀 I really enjoy watching your videos, you are awesome 👌 you have great ideas and your advices are great as well. So thank you for that, always looking forward for your new videos🤗 keep up the good job you're doing 👍😊💗
I also had tomatoes that weren’t ripening one year. I harvested them when they were green and put them on my counter. I was surprised to see them ripen there! I was able to have my tomatoes red after all.
June UK. Hi Noemi, We grow tomatoes and to help them to ripen we cut some of the leaves off to let the warmth to get around them. Also when they don't ripen we get a card board box and line it with newspaper and put the green tomatoes in with one of two green ones and they soon ripen up. Just keep looking in on them as once they start they soon are ripe

I agree. Starting in August, we strip off most of the leaves off our tomato plants and that helps to get every bit of sunlight on the fruits so that they ripen .
Thanks for the motivation Neomi! Just wanted to tell you that i finally made the vegetable pickle. I used cabbage, carrots, celery, onions, caraway seeds and a few birds eye chillies.Have a great weekend💞
Oh my goodness, I'm glad I looked up when you mentioned the coffee...My friends Richard and Rhonda own that coffee company! The best coffee!! from fabulously awesome people!
I am hoping to get figs this summer. The artic freeze we had last winter killed part of it. It has figs but they are still small and green. Looks lik e we will have early fall. Enjoy seeing your garden. You are inspiring! I have great dried thiistles from side of road on trip my husband took.
You did a nice job hemming your sheers. Was amazed how the lemons turned out . I love hot lemon and vinegar with a teaspoon of local honey in the morning. Your husband does a great job building those shelves. Thankyou so much for you videos. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Absolutely! My tomatoes did not do well this year, probably the weather.
Hi Noemi.🤗.. It's so nice to see you. Wow! Your chickens are big and beautiful. Love when I see them eating the veggie leafs that you put in their cage. Noemi have a blessed beautiful weekend with your lovely family. Send you a lots of hugs from New York City🗽🙏😘💕🐔🐓🥚🥚👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Nagyon cukik vagytok együtt. És gyönyörű a házatok. 🙂
Another great video Noemi!!! Our garden tomatoes aren’t ripening either, I wonder why because our cucumbers and pepper plants are doing so well! Ugh, maybe better next year 🤷🏻♀️ The shelf makes a nice addition to the entryway!! And of course you bought the solid gold ones 🤣 Max looks so much like Zsolt, and Cole is all you! You’re family is awesome!!!! Sending love & big hugs to you my dear friend!! Have a lovely weekend!!!! 🥰❤️❌⭕️🐓🍄🍅🥒🤗💐

Hello, as always enjoying your videos. The shelf is nice. Greetings from Mexico.
You could shred the zucchini and put it in your marble breakfast cake. That would be yummy!
This was fun and felt very productive...even though I didn't do anything.
I'm having the same issues with my tomatoes. I'm in Northern NY and my tomatoes are having issues. Odd issues this year. Chilly mornings. We go from really dry to torrential downpours. Keep up the good work. Love your videos.
Eşiniz ve siz birbirinize çok yakışıyorsunuz👏🧿 çok tatlısınız💕 mutluluklar💐
Merci pour le partage. Toujours au top. Bisous 😘
You guys are so cute 😊 have a great weekend ☺️ and do not wash eggs before you store them. Only wash them just before you gonna use them. They stay fresh longer.
Once I did my final picking of tomatoes I took the green tomatoes put them in a paper bag and stored them in the crisper drawer. We had red tomatoes for Christmas
Hi Noemi. Those mushrooms are Japanese mushrooms called Bunapie. ( I’m Japanese) In Japan people use with sautéed vegetables, miso soup, stew and pasta. Some people make oiled mushrooms with these mushrooms. That way we can keep long time!! Just cook with olive oil, salt , pepper, garlic, chili pepper. Some people make with soy sauce. which you can use coconut amino. Oiled mushrooms are good side dish.
Hello Naomi i love your Home and your garden and specially your hens are very Nice bye My friend from chile marite

Trim the leaves off your tomatoes. The energy will go the tomato and ripen well. Thanks for the lemon tip! Love your vlogs 🥰
This kind of mushrooms are good if you prepare sauce, rice rissotto or if they are fried with olive oil garlic and parsley. I use them to do a rice soup called "rice mountain"
So I'm from northern Maine originally and my mother used to stick the tomatoes on a table in front of a window. And they will ripen on their own some people say to put in a paper bag but they will ripen on the windowsill. It's not the same as on the plant but it will ripen. Also yeah don't wash your eggs if you want them to last longer. You should Google that

You can dice zucchini for spaghetti sauce or grate it and add to rissoles. My grandmother used to slice them fine, coat in flour, dip in egg and shallow fry on medium to low heat.

Hi Noemie. Same problem like you in my garden. We don't have a nice Summer so vegetables not growing well except zucchinis!! I try many recepies to cook them. I'm thinking that I need to get a dehydrator...would definitely come in handy. Perhaps the fires in your area blocking the sunlight has had an effect on the growth of your tomatoes...🤷♀️ I have found that tomatoes can be a bit finicky when they don't get enough sun, rain and nutrients. We were lucky this year we have had an abundance of tomatoes, but our cauliflower isn't flourishing this year. 🤷♀️ I really enjoy watching your videos! 👍
You can freeze eggs let them thaw out and mash through a fine mesh strainer then they will work without any problems in any and all baking scenarios
Bom dia sou do Brasil. Gosto muito seus vídeos. Projetos!!!
Hi Noemi! I want to share a super simple (but effective! Even my picky and DIY-skeptic husband approved of it!) dish soap recipe that I've recently started using, thanks to my mother-in-law who found it. (I recall in another recent video you were filling your big under-sink container with separate Seventh Generation dish soap containers.) Filling up whatever size container: quarter vinegar, a quarter Sal Suds, and half water. Mix a bit, and you're set! I hope the gallon-sized Sal Suds is available to you locally- pair it with the gallon (or larger) of vinegar, and it'll take you far, with so much less packaging! : )
