A beautiful, yet practical and truly easy update - I love this!! And it’s actually a SMALL bathroom just like mine! Nothing is more annoying than someone calling their huge full bathroom “small.” Great job! I love what you did to the space! Wish I’d seen your basket towel rack before I did my bathroom!

This is a great transformation. Shows it doesn't take thousands of dollars and months to improve the look of your space. Love it.

Thank you hubby for all your hard work. Painting is a pain in the butt, especially if you have to go over it twice. Our husbands are worth thier weight in gold when they have to help us with our demands. Nesting is a crazy time. I’m so happy you have a husband who understands and appreciates what you’re going through.

Sea Salt is the color that I want to paint my living room. We live on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and I wanted the coastal feeling since we are about .25 of a mile to the beach but I didn't want that outright beach look. I just want the beach feel. The bathroom looks great and I am so glad I could finally see the color on the walls. You have inspired me to do my living room finally.

The best part of the video was ur little kid doing the vacuum on the floor 😆 i have to repeat it many times so cute

@@msdtx3539 yeah some don’t allow you to paint. We did it at our rental and they took money off our rent.

I have used the pink stuff too. I found a damp cloth run over the holes removes the excess and alleviates the need to sand.

I have Sea Salt by Sherwin Williams in both my bathrooms too! Love that color! Great job!

We love Sherwin Williams Sea Salt too! So much so that we used it in every bathroom in our home, plus the guest room. It’s such a relaxing color! 💕

This bathroom space and design are very similar to mine and it was easy to simulate how I can change for mine! Removing towel bar and set up the basket was great idea! I love to see your little boy was helping as well😍

It's so satisfying watching someone or actually painting something.

Watching so many videos of people talking low budgets and then mentioning they spent $200 lol. or even $100. This is really nice and gives me ideas for my bathroom which is the same size! I'm on like a $30 "let's see what the dollar tree has" kind of budget

Love what you did Im in an apartment where you cannot paint walls or change out fixtures. When i leave, all holes must be plugged and painted with the same color paint... they supply the paint in a small bucket. So much for home decore. : - / No, it's not a fancy apartment... blah beige in every room, and cabinets are 40-50 yrs old. But complex is well lighted and clean, rent is pretty low considering tbe area. So glad for you!! Your little one is precious! Wishing you the very best with your little family!!!

Very nice transformation. Check with your landlord before painting back. It looks so much nicer than before. The landlords I had let me paint and fix things in my apartment as it raised the value of the units. Bravo.

So pretty! We have a small bathroom like that also with the big builder grade mirror, which I hated! We used a few 2x4’s stained them and framed the mirror with them!! My husband glued them directly onto the mirror! It looks sooo good ! And you can easily pry them off if you needed to !

I have always lived in rentals. All of them never looked cosy or homey. Rentals were not my own house but my home and thanks to thrift stores, Habitat for Humanity, garbage runs, garage sales and Kijiji I made the rental look so cosy and lovely for me and my 3 children! I love these videos!❤❤❤

I directed by just requesting my changes at home, hubby did it all, ladies give men back their power to nit enable them. Its good we could do all this, but fight back the urge, psychologically we have made men confused. Believe me am a gands on woman traveled 48 states and canada alone as a tru k driver, former medical assistant too but i have learned that i should sit back sometimes.

It's usually okay to paint as long as you paint it back or pay a fee of $50 or so or deducted from deposit. I still don't paint a rented apt since we move a lot.

Unless you're renting from a commercial complex, I would think that a landlord would appreciate a nice neutral tone and improvement. I get it, but even as a commercial entity, I would leave it. But that's just me, what do I know. I rented out my house one time and would never ever do it again. I would have given anything to have had a renter ask me if they could paint a room, I probably would have done it for them. Lol

This was an awesome and clean looking option even for my home that's not a rental. I loved it. My bathroom is very small and I've been trying to figure out a way to make it look more homey feeling and country like.

BRONZE HARDWARE on the cabinets would tie it in so beautifully. Super cute project!

When i clean my walls I use a new spin mop head and use the mop to clean the walls. It saves so much time

I agree about the wash cloths going up high. Every time you flush, toilet droplets spray into the room. Studies have been shown toilet plume can go from 2.7 feet to 6 feet in the air and since yours is a tiny bathroom and the toilet is older, it is something to consider. That is why it recommended that tooth brushes be kept in a sealed container if on the counter or put in a drawer. I used to keep a basket with rolls of hand and wash cloths on top of the toilet until I discovered this.(I dont believe it is possible to make every family member close the toilet lid before they flush lol) I still think the switch would not affect the lovely improvements you have made. One other thing, I would switch to a rectangle clothes hamper with a lid so it sits wider and closer to the wall. The round one seems to big for the space and when stuff gets dumped in it, would clutter your neutral zen space. Just my opinion. Nice job!

My ex and son,( as a child) never did and even though I would rant at them, they would forget. Now, my son understands and my ex is not an issue lol but the arrangement stands.
