Nik was a proper and well written powerful female character, the actress was amazing, clearly dominated her role and made us love her character.

That move where he rips the hand in half was a whoah moment but that entire 21 min action sequence was insane. The prison courtyard riot has to be a shout out to The Raid 2. Another epic action film.

IMO this was better than first. Far better action sequences, and more story too. Although there were some plot induced stupidity in 2nd, while first one made perfect sense

I love how he reached for the hammer and threw an axe in this movie. Its small stuff like thats really cool

Best sequence of the entire movie probably has to be the train scene. I was in awe, the camera angles, the fight choreography, the sense of dread for some of the characteers, just magnificent.

I think I’m in luv with NIK. I luv every scene she was in. Im Glad she had a larger role this time.

Also in the scene with the hammer, I find pretty funny detail that prior to that the villain tossed a box of nails on him

There's also another Thor homage scene in the movie besides the hammer. It's the scene where he's training after he meets Idris. At the wood cutting part, he threw the axe to the tree is like in the Infinity War where he threw stormbreaker to Thanos.

Nik the true star in Extraction

A masterpiece of a movie.... first one was great but this one was better hopefully they keep making more 🔥🔥🔥

Anyone notice after nik and yaz drop tyler off at the cabin in their ID4, when it cuts back to tyler you can hear an engine being turned on. Even tho the ID4 clearly is a fully electric vehicle

I might be the only one but I thought extraction 2 was better than john wick 4 this year.

9/10 movie tbh, the long takes were really well done. Though i think the ending gets a 7, should have got Nik to save Tyler in the last fight, this way she gets closure from Yaz's death

You missed something very important. In Extraction 1 we are never told exactly what Rake did in the military, you're left to assume that due to his elite skills he must have been in some special unit. When he is in the helicopter at the start of the movie being worked on you can see on his left side ribs a tattoo of the SASR emblem - The Australian special forces. So we finally know that not only was he in the Australian military, but he was in the tier 1 operations group of the special forces. Have a look at the scene again, the tattoo is very deliberate as the actor was not in the military or special forces, meaning that tattoo was purely for the audience to confirm what was never factually revealed in the first movie. @Looper.

They should do a NIK own spin-off movie trilogy with Golshiften Farahani reprising her role 🍿💯

Extraction 2 is better than John wick 4. Ill die on this hill.

At the beginning i caught on to him being in a coma for a while but it didn't make sense that he would still be wearing a sling. I can understand a limp depending on the injury and having problems walking after being in a bed that long. Anyway still pretty badass movie. Should have got a theatrical release.

8/10 great movie

He obviously didn't survive the first movie because getting hit with a 50 cal sniper rifle in the lungs is a death sentence along with getting shot in the throat. Bottom line he was already starting to lose motor function by the end of the movie and there's no coming back after that also the water he fell into was so dirty he would have died from infection pretty fast.

What fifty-cal sniper rifle? If the bullet was FMJ and did hit nothing too important, survival is possible. He did "lose motor function" because he was absolutely exhausted, suffering from various major and minor wounds and injuries and was basically running on fumes. As for the infection, he will have been absolutely pumped full of antibiotics and anti-virals. And FYI, Chargin' Carlie Beckwith was hit with a .51 HMG bullet and survived.

I feel like the boss that idris mentioned in the final scene is ovi's dad and there he will meet ovi again at the pool

They really messed this one up. The first one was far better moving. This second version is too much like a video game, very unrealistic, everything and everyone is bullet and bomb proof. Also, please stop putting stupid teenagers and kids in adult movies

So what was the barrel attachment he had on his pistol in the prison? Looked like a suppressor but sounded like a normal supersonic shot (firearms aren't legal in my country so hoping an American can give an answer😂)

Could’ve easily been a muzzle flash suppressor, suppresses the flash of the gun more then the sound but also lowers the sound a slight bit. The flash suppressor helps keep you on target and helps with the clearest visibility while shooting, which is probably what he needed in the snowy weather, dark night at the prison. But could’ve also been a regular sound suppressor but I honestly doubt it

Good look on Georgian actors and Georgian criminal organisation that the main character is fighting, Sad that Georgian prisoners aren't portrayed accurately, when soldiers were fighting the woman they couldn't use there actually power because the females watching it wouldn't like it, also i don't know how they tryed to translate Georgian swearing words, because most of them can't be translated.
