Yep. I keep my Costco receipt and tailor my shopping list. Attempting to stay at a certain price point each time we go. I say NO to the kids A LOT!

When I go shopping if there is a buy one get one free, or something similar, if it's a true savings, not a hiked price, I will buy it. I will preserve the extra for later use...building the pantry. Also, I pay cash, no credit to stay on budget.

Crashing stock market would ripple into those markets. As the stocks crash businesses disappear and jobs follow.

The housing market is still a sellers market and they’re still getting over asking. I just seen a house go on the market for an even higher price yesterday so some sellers are getting bold and will probably get what they want because people are still buying.

Maybe these buyers can afford to do so.

Restaurant owners won't be able to charge those fees and that will affect their bottom line. They won't like that. If they raise prices too much, then they'll lose business. Because people will eat somewhere more affordable, or cook at home.

Kids interact mostly online now so they lose out on missing the nuances that lead you to gauge character accurately. They lack the skills because online interactions have prevented them from developing those skills.

I have stopped going to "fast food" joints. Too expensive. for a few dollars more, we (GF and I) can go to a buffet. better food, wide variety, and stay as long as I want.

I don't get the junk restaurant fee law. If a meal item is $15 + $2 junk fee A + $2 junk fee B + $1 junk fee C that's $20 total cost. So if the restaurant now charges $20 + no junk fees, what's the difference? Is this Newsomonics?

this month At&t raised my internet by $5/month, Gas company asking for $6 more a month too, and the parts for my sprinkler system have skyrocketed and our city requires us to rebuild them every 5 years. It's literally hundreds of dollars

I haven't heard mention of The Fed quantitative tightening. From what I understand this is supposed to remove money supply from the economy to help reduce inflation. Markets, for some reason seemed to like this.

What are you going to do with your gold and silver when there is no food on the shelves? Store long term storage food like, wheat, rice, and beans. Also store a years supply of every needful thing. Canned goods, toiletries, pads and tampons. OTC medicines like Motrin, Tylenol, allergy meds and the like. Don’t forget water. Learn to make do, or do without.

The thing is if cbdc (digital currency)is introduced then govt agencies will have power over your spending.So that for example it might be fine purchasing a state project property but not a private sale of property.Even so you will be limited to around 35% of actual ownership.The remainder will be made up of rent.
