Dear Jim Sterling, You can clean that poor Boglin off with warm soapy water and a soft sponge and then to knock that mould on the head, warm water and a very mild solution of anti bathroom mould spray, should clear that poor Boglin's aspergillus nigerus right up. Used to love these little blighters back in the 90s, if left unchecked over time in a collection with open boxes around the infected one, the mould will spread. Are there any currently known effective ways of removing dirt and hair from boglins without ruining the paint? It seems like someone would have tried this to restore valuable old pieces. Perhaps vinegar to kill the mold or some kind of slimy soap to help get the hair off?
