Room looks nice, really like the new bedding. I think a landscape print instead of the sign would tie the sage green in more and lighten the room. The one thing I find that is a must for me and my guests is to be able to have a place to connect my chargers for phone, tablet, watch etc. preferably on the nightstand.

Leslie the room looks so cozy. I have a very small guest room as well. Are the little light sconces part of the headboard? If not, I am thinking you could remove them and it wouldn't look so busy since you moved the lamps closer to the bed. I've thought about putting a bench on the end of my bed but not sure I have the room. I think our spare room is about the size of yours. I love the sage green on the bed. I agree. Why have 2 lamps in each side? Plus looks like you could hit your head on the headboard lamps!

Ok I have a question about the lights attached to the headboard…do they not get in the way if you want to sit up in bed? I feel like I’d be cracking my head on those all the time 🥴 and are they necessary if you have nightstand lamps? Just wondering because I was thinking of doing something similar but it seems a little busy 🤷🏻‍♀️

Love this kind of video. Since there are lights built into the headboard, do you even need the tall table lamps?

I like the pale green a lot. I would think about spray painting the lamps and lampshades pale green or white. It would lighten up the nightstand areas.

I know I’d hit my head on it. I have swing arms for reading mounted on the wall so the lite hits the book I’d be needing the light for.

I traveled a lot in my job when I was younger. I found that foreign hotel rooms were much more accommodating for women than American. I feel a table and chair with mirror and good lighting is a must in a guest room, which can be used for doing your hair and putting on make-up especially if there is not a bathroom attached. I use the table as a bedside able also. I also have a fold up luggage rack available that I keep in the closet. I never used hotel drawers and hung everything up, so I ensure the closet has nice (matching of course) hangers available. When company is coming, I place a basket of travel size toiletries, snacks and bottled water. You could do a video on preparing for overnight company which would be beneficial to all.

I agree about not liking the first throw on the bed. Love the white one, but agree a lighter weight one would be nice. We have an older home and our master bedroom is quite small, but love our oak bench at the foot of the bed, now located under a window (easier to find the bathroom in the dark!) The only decor change for our bed is the summer quilt and the winter quilt, both hand sewn and hand appliquéd and hand quilted by me! Love watching YOUR decorating, however!❤️

I love what you did to update the guest bedroom! It turned out lovely. I'm so glad you aren't using the throw you purchased! I didn't like it. I actually got the same throw on a great sale price at WM. I brought it home and it is lying across the top of a large basket I keep in the LR to store other throw blankets. It looks great just thrown there casually! Hint, just giving you an idea for it even alone in a small shallow basket. Love the idea you shared about the curtains! Thank you for all of the wonderful tips! 😊

Great video today. I redid my bedding in our little guest room with Walmart's "My Texas House" in a forest green velvet this winter.. Walmart has really stepped up their game in their bedding and home products. I would love a link to your darlng earrings. Was hoping that myself, also why have the lamps when the headboard has them built in? looks congested in a small space. You do however have a sweet soothing voice, something any guest would appreciate!

Lamps on the headboard???? What if your guests like to read in bed?? Green is my favorite color, and I loved the result!

One thing i would encourage is making the wall sockets accessible, so guests dont have to try & move a night stand. #1 item on my night stand is my CPAP. Im fortunate to have a long cord & long hose, but ive run into logistics in some places. The light is secondary to me & use my phone as alarm, even at home. Otherwise, nicely done!! If the throw is strictly for looks,not warmth, i like the wide bands of fabric ive seen at some timeshares... It's easy to remove & essily changed out with color/pattern fir different seasons

Enjoyed the video just like always. I always look forward to it. If you talked about the throw pillow I missed it. Can you tell me how it feels to the touch? It looks like a tapestry or stiffer upholstery fabric but it’s hard to tell from the website and the haven’t had it in our Walmart yet. Also what colors would you say are in it? I primarily use tan, blue and brown but can’t tell if that is in this pillow or if it’s more gray? If you are able to show and close picture that would be great!
