I do a lot of walking around in small towns here in rural Japan in all kinds of weather. I hike but mostly go trekking around the countryside. That’s what I’d use this camera for. Right now I have to use my smartphone for all my videos. I really appreciate your reviews. I’m not a professional but, I’m trying hard to create some nice videos for my family- and others who want to watch them. We lost our jobs with the pandemic and now live on a very small pension. Making videos helps me to focus on the peaceful and beautiful things in life and really helps my mental health. I appreciate your reviews because they help me make smart purchases. I have no money to waste on poor products. Also thank you for your filming tutorials. They have really helped me.

Zdenka thanks for this review and your honest opinion on this camera. I think some people expect so much for little. If you want the best this or that you should be willing to pay for it. That said it seems like this little SJCAM seems pretty decent for what it is. I would probably use it for pov biking shots on the trail and out on the water paddle boarding.

I would mount the SJCAM on my helmet when I go kiteboarding, both on snow and on the water during summer season. And use it with my motorbike when I enjoy the beautiful Norwegian roads. Thank you for all your interesting videos. And thank you for being Zdenka, sharing your wisdom with us.

This would make an excellent action camera for recording video in car. Either shooting out the windshield, or facing the driver for commentary. What a great little unit. Love your videos :)

I been using the AKASO Brave 4 for about 3 years now. magnet mounts onto different tractors and farm implements. gets viewers close to the tillage action. thinking of buying another so I can bring more video clips to the editor after a day out working the farm. you gave me a huge portion of entertainment when you said you had to read the manual, thank you for that Zdenka.

Lovely review, well done as ever! 👍👍 I guess for me it would be a good and practical little camera to video some outdoors acoustic musicmaking, as well as the occasional travel video.

I have three uses in mind for this type of camera. One is videoing drives on scenic winding roads in my 1972 Alfa Romeo Spider. Another would be taking "action" videos while hiking on trails in the mountains. It would be much easier to do with a camera like this than by holding a cell phone or standalone camera. Third would be getting Dog Cam shots with the camera mounted on a harness on my dog's back. It would be great to see things from her perspective as she walks a hiking trail or runs after a frisbee.

I’d like to see how I can integrated its video color with my iPhone and Osmo Pocket.

I would use this for POV photography walks, something I have wanted to do for ages but have never bought a GoPro or anything similar! Looks perfect as it is so small, just set it and leave it running!

Found your channel after I bought a DJI OM5 gimbal as I'm curious about especially making video using a video editing software and finally putting together some of my GoPro shots. Found a video from last fall where you said one of your insecurities which you got good and negative comments on was your English / American accent. Don't bother, I was living in a an English speaking but multi-cultural country for 10+ years working for American companies and from own experience you're English is very understandable and I wouldn't have guessed where the slight accent comes from. Keep this channel up, I need all the hints and I can get so I can go practicing.

Hi Zdenka~! That's actually a pretty decent budget action camera with some cool features. I would most probably give it to my daughter who goes cycling and hiking. That way it would be a great start to introduce her to the world of photography and videos. :) Excellent video and presentation as always :)

Hello Zdenka, Thanks for this review as I’ve been considering buying a GoPro. This looks like it would work great with less cost. I am a grandmother creator in LumaFusion, documenting our family memories ie: celebrations of all kinds. It’s great to have family history recorded for upcoming generations!! I make other movies as well, filming our dogs, RV’ing travels etc.. They grow up so fast, and I would luv to capture all those wonderful moments. I use to carry around a DSLR but I found it to be inconvenient, and I end up not capturing anything. This would be ideal and effective for our active lifestyles, hiking, biking, snorkeling, hockey, gymnastics, soccer, etc...crossing our fingers....

Hey Zdenka, Rupert from the UK here, so I am probably out of the draw anyway but, I would use the camera on my golf trolley to film while I am playing golf, one to help me improve my game and secondly golf courses in the UK have some magnificent scenery. I currently use a Panasonic TZ80 on a gorilla tripod strapped to my trolley but something as small and compact as this would be amazing. Also I follow motor sports and to have a small camera/recorder to wander around the pits with and to film some action from the stands would be fantastic. Fantastic budget action camera 👍. I would really like to shoot and record all the different types of traditional sports i grew up with when i was a kid, which sadly have been long forgotten especially now that the world revolves around multimedia gaming and social media. It will be great to have a permanent archive for my kids and their kids to watch the fun and joy i had with my childhood friends during my younger years. Another interesting video. Just this morning I ordered my first GoPro. I do a lot of adventure videos: hiking, caving, mountain climbing, mountain biking, unicycling, etc. and have been shooting pretty successfully using just my iPhone, but it’s time to switch things up a bit. Hi, I will be mounting the SJCAM C200 to my motorcycle helmet. The purpose is actually just to record the whole ride and may be used in case there are certain events that needs the footage (i.e accident). This can also be a practice setup before committing to the much higher priced GoPros. :)

This seems to be a good budget camera with so many accessories and which is able to record for 150 minutes,please mention about heating of camera ...as most of the camera overheat so what is the maximum continuous record time. I would love to use this camera to record outdoor play activities with my daughter,would use it as my dash cam and also to record pov shots for my cat which i have never tried with any other camera. Seems like a great little camera! I'm not so active as a person, but I would record from the car or outside the car, and at the beach in the summer.

I'd use the action cam to substitute my 7 years old one for weather changing shots and walking and, moreover, for my painting/modyfing miniatures sessions. I like action cams cause they are small and handable and can adapt to a lot of different environments.

Hey i love watching your product reviews and i m very fond of gadgets... I have never tried blogging i would love to make some videos while i travel .. for my memories as well as upload some reels and on KZread as well... To start with i m gonna use my mobile phone. Should i purchase a gimble or just try it without gimble. And if u suggest to purchase please suggest a gimble which would help me learn as well as help me shot well in budget .

If i can get the camera, i think i’ll use it to capture the beautiful moments out there. Small and easy to carry wherever i go. I will not miss every thing that happens around me..

I have been using Sjcam 100+, price is cheap but I never regret to buy it.. It suit my purpose and happy for it

Hi Zdenka, I would , if successful, use the action cam for when I go filming in the mountains of north wales, uk, in the springtime when the baby lambs are being born, the area becomes alive with nature re-growing for the start of a new season. Daffodils blowing in the cool breeze, birds happily singing, storm clouds giving way to brighter skies, trees with their new leaves on and nature taking on a new beginning. Stunning scenery, beautiful views, fresh air… the list to film is endless.

Hey Zdenka! This is a good camera that could serve as my dash cam while riding an e-scooter. It has a decent video quality that is enough for a dash cam. I would really love to give them a try.

Hello Zdenka. I would use this action camera on my hiking trips, but also when traveling. I plan to travel to Florida and South America to visit family. It will be perfect !

Not sure it will qualify but I would use it for recording workshop activities. Sometimes I have to disassemble complex mechanisms (mech clocks and watches) and need to record the order of operations. For my outdoor time I use my iphone 12 and just got a gymbal that iCeline recommended.
