Thanks i just started playing chess and i have watched you for a few days and it has helped alot because i mixed something i want to do and something i love!

13:49 - 17:02 represents what about this video that keeps me coming back- "what are you going to do about that bishop?" The anticipation, the tension, then finally, peace at the end of the sentence. and after the huge sacrificial battle, the game is finished with a single knight move. this channel is really something else.

Im only a minute in, and already I want to comment. I LOVE that you describe Mikhail as a chess "maniac". I love that kind of talk and deeply appreciate unorthodox masteries as I expect I'm about to watch. The parallel between genius and insanity, fearlessness and caution. I love these videos soooo much man! stories of chess told in a beautiful way. I have many vices but watching specifically your content is one of them! Thank you man! And as always I must mention, your chess board is gorgeous!!!

great vid. I was actually really getting into the game with Tal's play style and I'd like to be able to emulate it someday. Suggestion: maybe note that the real game ended there, but keep playing to the finish. If its possible, even go through different variations of the finish.

Agadmator made me wake up in the morning and immediately play chess while u made me sleep while watching chess. And im not complaining.

This was such a good vid. Damn. I always wondered how GM"s just recognize old games just by the look of it, but after seeing this video I think every chess game has it's specific story. A story that is written by an alphabet of 32 characters and that GM's can read a position as a specific storyline which it makes easy for them to recognize if they have read the story. Just a metaphoric thought :) !

It’s DGT chessboard which allows to broadcast moves to the computer/phone. The pieces come with the board (they need to have RFID so that the board could read them) but there are different style options. It's used in most of the over the board tournaments where the tops are playing
